you really like spreading half truths thinking you are clever just because you want to win an argument. What false information have I posted I said ogbeche did not score a bicycle kick is that a lie? Is scoring one goal in a season impressive.

This is the second time you are insulting me by calling me a liar. This is the last time I will be warning if you know you can't argue with civility like the Christian you claim to be please avoid my mentions don't worry I will avoid yours

Which half truth? You mean Ogbeche scored one goal in 2001/2002 season going into the world cup? shocked grin

For your information, Ogbeche scored and contributed to 6 goals if the Coupe d France is included. Besides, He played well in the UEFA Cup. Is Simy performance better than Ogbeche now that you can see the fact from that reliable and trust able source?

By the way, where did you see me insult you by calling you a liar? Show me nau nau and I will apologies else you should do otherwise.

Five players out. What am I thinkng? grin

At least, we have been preached to to ask questions. grin

Now, what are the positions of these 'missing' players?

Idowu (RB/LB)
Mikel (AMF)
Joel (CMF)
Simy (ST)
Ighalo (ST)

How come those targeted players invited for Athletico Madrid friendly coincidentally fits into this position?

Mohammed (RB/LB)
Kelechi Nwakali (AMF)
Chidiebere Nwakali (CMF/DMF)
Alhassan (ST/SS)
Sadiq Umar (ST)

Will these players replace the 5 missing ones to make the Congo friendly? grin

Na question o but what a coincident. grin

Be straightforward and don't be afraid

Sir, why do u think Uzoho kept for 90 mins in both Serbia and poland friendlies? Our minders know that he needs that kind of exposure so he is not overwhelmed by the pressure of playing in the WC. Same reason why the newly appointed GK trainer have been working with him closely. Same reason why Rohr has been pulling strings to ensure Uzoho gets training time with Deportivo main team. Yes we have a problem in our hands. But I think we have been taking the best measures to solving it. Hence, let’s be hopeful and throw our weights behind our anointed #1 goalie. It will go well. Funnily, I’m a little scared that our forwards will not take their chances whe it matters most.

Mujtahida:

In a competitive game the stakes will be higher, the pressures more intense. Being confident and assured is not for the first half or second half of the game ooo. An outfield player may have switch on and off moments (that too can prove very costly) but for a gk it would lead to pure disaster.

Perhaps the reason Uzoho was calm against Argentina was because the damage had already been done by Akpeyi. In that kind of scenario you'd say to yourself 'well, it cant be worse than this'. But in the friendlies he felt the raw heat that comes with carrying on one's shoulders the hope of a whole nation. I know it's not easy but hmmm no excuses will be tolerated at the WC ooo. Uzoho will either become a hero or a villain.

To build his confidence obviously. I just pray we go past 2nd round. It's becoming boring. If we don't go past the second round few will have high hopes for 2022

Biased in sense that Simy had a blistering season with 7 goals but Ogbeche didn't have blistering season eventhough he 5 goals that season. Yes!

Saying US is overrated is nothing but stark ignorance because you dont live there neither do you know what benefits a US citizen gets. You might not feel among because you were not born there but economic-wise its the place to be ,if you want to get good education and make good living.

Did Diego Forlan play in 2014? I don't think so but I stand corrected, if I am wrong. As regards to why England didn't make it out of the group stages, it's because they underachieved as always. And in addition, they had an ageing team at that World Cup.

And by the way, if Uruguay were that good, why did Colombia trashed them 2-0 in the round of 16? There's NO doubt in my mind that Nigeria, even with Keshi as the coach, would've beaten Colombia if they were our opponents.

O pari

your permutations are funny, yes forlan was part of that squad, columbia in there own part is a good team to and it should not be a surprise they lost 2 - 0.

There might be fixing in football grouping but i wont accept the fact that it is always to favour home team and England, you don't even have specific prove

your problem lies in the fact....that you don't always believe they're few exceptions... you take everything wholesale.... a wise man should know that the world does not begin and end in his own sitting room...

sorry me say this its like you have a domineering attitude... you think only you have the monopoly of wisdom... what you think starts and end with you only and does not make it absolute...
the bolded alone shows how you reason...which may not always be true... your exposure abroad should tell you that people do things for different reasons.... so get it... yours may just be one reason but still there exist no mono-causation in the explanation of human phenomenon and conflicts...... so learn never to generalize things with value ridden beliefs.

may be you still don't get the influence of colonialism... the language we use in communicate is not ours.... we got it via colonialism... so bearing names that drew meaning of the language is just inevitable because It is our lingua franca...

Oga , I dont have a domineering attitude I just feel there are things nobody should teach or remind you. The whites came to Africa to steal, destroy ,ruin, exploit and wipe you off the face of the earth and this need to be taught in our schools...Every African need to know this moving forward ,they(whites) are not your friend and they dont pretend about it rather you are the one romancing them. They take what is good in you and leave but you swallow everything they feed you and latch unto them. Not everything the white brought was bad but we have to be smart enough to identify the ones that can benefit us.

How about Keshi and Okala?

You are as good as the people you have around you. If u can do it all, then what’s the need for assistants.

Siasia has had more spells as coach with Kalika than without him.

Please can u tell us more about Mutiu’s successes as a coach.

forgiveness:

Compare Siasia's brand of play with and without Kalika. So, obviously different.

Siasia's most successful career was with Kalika. Fact.

I was number one supporter of Siasia to get the SE job on kickoff Nigeria and also one of those who vehemently kicked against his sack. So. I know what I am talking about.

I will rather take John Obuh as assistant of the super eagles or Garba, Mutui or Salako ahead of Siasia and Amuneke. Gbam.

Amuneke to me is an agent coach and his tiki taka style is one way traffic. You can't compare it with Guardiola's style.

See ehn, laslas, to marry a footballer is not easy. They spend days away from the home, moving from one destination to another to play matches. When they are out there, you can't control what goes on, who they meet, who they are influenced by, you can only hope things work favourably for you. The whole stress of having one's partner away for long periods of time is weighty enough, the emotiinal and physical detachment can be hell

Sometimes, the act isn't necessarily done, it is the suspicion that is heartbreaking.
