Slowly slowly. So that those of us who have been riding the wings of fantasy will see what we have been saying since day one.
Cameroon was light-years ago.
This team is average.

All I am saying is this... NDIDI has become the most important GWG player. Abeg if e fit play small make e play abeg.

Ebuehi, Iheanacho, Ogu and Musa aneeds to come in for Shehu, ighalo, Joel Obi and Vic Mo. If Ndidi can come in for Onazi then good. If not leave Onazi. But una Joel Obi is shyts yo.

Joebie:
First-Half Analysis

1. As a unit we have been poor in cohesion
2. Iwobi has been Nigeria’s best on the pitch. Playing like a playmaker.
3. Uzoho needs to iron out one or two things and he’d be ready for the biggest stage when the WC begins.
4. Onazi has been poor.
5. Still waiting for an above average game from Joel since his return.
6. Our fullbacks have been okay.
7. We’ve not really been missing Mikel all this while.
8. Now u know why I never wanted to start Ighalo in all my lineups.

Shehu has been abysmal against the much older young making Shehu look like hmmm

Haha. Omo, you and I actually do agree more than we disagree. I tend to disagree with you only when it comes to everything EPL/England is superior.

Anyway, let's go watch the second half. Ebuehi and Omeruo are coming on ....

With bitter gnashing of my teeth I agree with you.

It is hard for any team to win a 3-5-2 formation playing another formation. What happened to the formation that defeated Argentina. Return the favour play 3-5-2 Also. Remove ighalo for simmy Joel for Tyrone, onazi for Awaziem/omeruo. shehu for musa. Mikel should move to 4. Iwobi 10. Then leave moses, musa and simmy upfront. We can still savage this game.

Now we see that mikels influence is not the holy grail, we are sorely misssing ndidi the midfield is very leaky without him.
Onazi I don’t know what to say, just poor
Ekong should have done better with the cahill goal
And also kanes goal, I don’t understand why he a English groomed defender, would not be able to with aerial balls or blocking the shot for kanes goal.
Uzoho is our no 1
Even Ndidi playing in this game won't change much, the problem is with the formation and tactics.

I've said it over and over again
Onazi, Joel and Agu are no where match where Ogu is.
Put Ogu to sit deep those long balls to Kane will be out
Rorh should drop Onazi and Joel or one of them
Ighalo be waiting for ball without breaking a sweat for it. Switch formation to 3-5-2 take out Ighalo and Onazi and put Iheanacho and Ogu. We need athleticism to run down the English backline
Agreed

To me where were struggling is on the flank.

Moses and Iwobi are getting sucked in to pressure linhad and Ali, leaving ungodly space for Trippier and Young.

If our fullbacks were good enough to overlap then we could put pressure on England wingbacks by double teaming them with our wingers and fullbacks.

As it stands, the fullbacks are staying put on defence, their wingers are tucking in too narrow, and so England have turned their wings to third mainland bridge at 2am

We don tell our People here many Times that Iwobi ain't a Winger, but taaah!...... he played on the Wing at Arsenal and he's the best we get in the Team.

I super agree...
Onazi contributes nothing aside fouls and misplaced passes.
Ighalo is not really doing enough..
Victor Moses not seeing enough passes
Mike needs a lot of assistance in the midfield but Onazi and Joel not helping.
Idowu has been fantastic so far
Onazis misplaced passes is putting the whole team under pressure. Joel has not been bad in this game. One part of d support is weak, the other is always rushing back to help. It has translated to the whole team

A torino player indeed

You are one of those hyping this team. Have you seen reality. It's a different ball game when you play a team that is disciplined. Onazi, Joel Obi have no business in that team. They don't have the mental strength and talent to compete at this stage. Onazi need to lose weight. I doubt if 0gu can be a better replacement to Joel Obi. Obi i am sorry to say has no business in this team. Onazi need to go but do you have a better replacement. Simy Nwankwo should be tried, let Iwobi support him. Iwobi makes the runs but poor movement and positioning limits his creativity.

Mikel need to man up and coordinate his midfield.

To the Mods banning me, I don't hate Nigeria, i just tell boastful and arrogant people here who think they have better knowledge of football to keep quiet. I have not seen those so called intellectuals contributing.

Your tails are all behind your legs.

When some of us called attention to the fact that this team is at best average earlier on this thread, Safarigirl and Tbaba almost skinned us alive. I hope we have all seen it.

I keep seeing another 2002 WC outing for Nigeria

1 point in 3 matches. I pray I'm wrong.
