French Club Bordeaux 'Follow' 20-Goal Striker Adeleke Akinyemi To Liepāja Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that in-form Nigerian striker Adeleke Akinyemi is attracting huge interest from French Ligue 1 club Bordeaux. Akinyemi, who doesn't turn 20 until next Saturday, was on target for Ventspils in their 2-1 loss to Bordeaux in the second qualifying round of the Europa League on August 2. Shortly after the meeting at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique, Bordeaux held talks over the signing of the teenager and it was agreed that they will continue to monitor him before making a final decision. A representative from Bordeaux will be present at the Stadions Daugava (Liepāja) for Ventspils's Cup clash with Liepāja on Monday, August 6 and he has been instructed to run the rule over Akinyemi. The likes of Altach, Brondby, Strasbourg, Toulouse and Freiburg watched him live and direct score his 20th goal of the season in all competitions two days ago. As exclusively reported by allnigeriasoccer.com, Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is considering inviting Akinyemi to the national team for their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles. 1 Like |

Odunayaw: Thank you my brother that is all I am saying. I watch the PSL and their stadiums are always empty apart from 2 or 3 big matches like Chief v pirates. Even sundowns struggle with attendance and their tickets are free as long as you have a jersey. 1 Like |

tbaba1234: Pains me Nacho is not playing under a system known for creating numerous goal scoring opportunities. He has the potential to be a lethal hit man but needs the right system to get the best out of him. Kudos to him making the best out of the preseason and I hope he continues in the upward trajectory. He should stay focused and keep working hard. I hope Puel plays in a more offensive fashion this season and give Nacho a good run. |

tbaba1234:This will help his confidence going forward into the new season. But he'll have to fight it out with Vardy. A goal against Man U Will go a long way. Presently playing behind the striker seems unrealistic considering Leicester new signing Maddison. Dude is a baller... Nacho needs to keep fighting... Wishing him the best |

Here in Minna there is serious following of their Niger Tornadoes, just imagine if there was 25% of that glamour we see in other parts of the world. Joebie: Yes, we can host it. We have good cities with good infrastructures like good roads, good hotels, airports, capital projects such as stadiums, training camps, athlete villages, hospitals and transport hubs, restaurants, mobile media, malls, security etc Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Uyo and Kano can provide these infrastructures. |
