Go and check the match stats .

Liverpool had 8 shots and one of those shots was bamboozed by Salah into the air. Manchester city just had 6 shots.

Even the fouls Manchester city committed was more than that of Liverpool. It showed Liverpool dominated them and they had to play kwatankwa football. grin

8 shots and how many where on target?

As far as football stats is concerned 8 shots on the air are good as nothing.

What was the possession?

Post the match stats here, but you wont

Take a look at what a fan comment on leicester city website on the football side.

But one dumb guy here is busy insulting nacho saying he played nonsense,i doubt if that guy even watch the game as if vardy and others played well.

Vardy was one of the worst player on the pitch yesterday, even maddison was pocketed by arsenal midfielders .

Most of leicester players was rated 5 and 6 over 10

I know I’ve already said more than my fair share about Rohr’s incompetence but any coach who prefers Etebo to Iwobi in crucial World Cup games opens himself up to questions regarding his credentials

Cheers.

Ex-Man Utd Star Hargreaves & Ex-Leicester City Hero Bright : Ozil, Not Iwobi, Deserves To Win MOTM
Published: October 22, 2018

Alex Iwobi was officially named the Man of the Match in Arsenal's 3-1 win over Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night.

The Man of the Match accolade is given to the most outstanding player from either team by the Premier League sponsors.

In his post-match analysis, former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves questioned the decision to name Iwobi Man of the Match and stressed that the Gunners captain on the night, Mesut Ozil had more impact than the Nigeria international.

Speaking on Premier League Fan Zone, ex-Crystal Palace and Leicester City striker Mark Bright echoed the words of Hargreaves, saying he's surprised that the German was snubbed for the award.

Ozil became the highest scoring German in Premier League history with 30 goals after scoring the Gunners equalizer in the 45th minute, and provided the assist for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's second goal in the 66th minute.

The Arsenal number 10 made four key passes, the most in the match, and had a game-high passing accuracy of 92.5 percent according to stats provided by OPTA.

Though Iwobi spent more minutes on the pitch, he had one shot on target, the same as Ozil managed, finished with a passing accuracy of 80 percent, and was the top dribbler with three successful take-ons.

I don't agree with this. Forget national bias, but before that Ozil goal. It was All Iwobi doing the work. Leicester were so compact and Iwobi was doing the job of cracking them down while Ozil was as usual unable to do same cos he was hopeless. After that Goal, Ozil came up and improved, but Iwobi didn't falter in performance level. Consistent Iwobi, Blazing Ozil.... I'd still give Iwobi. His only down was the finishing he still has issues with till now. He will still become a good finisher.

I don't know why it took the board that long to kick out Wenger.

Not just Iwobi the entire Arsenal team has been fired up since Emery came in.

Iwobi even said it that playing under Emery is more demanding than playing under Wenger. Cos he expects more from you.

Emery sure knows how to play Iwobi.

But please let Emery stop starting Mkhi, why would he bench a goals machine like Auba?

All Arsenal needs now is some cheap defenders with a very hot performance rate to shut up the backline from conversing.

Arsenal have the 2nd best attack(22goals) in the epl this season behind Man city(26goals), but have conversed exactly half(11) while man city have conversed just 3(their defence line is work over 150milla sha) Arsenal are fired up this season and they are expected to win something.

I went to watch that match with the patriotism of wanting 3 SE players to perform well, but I dropped that after the game started.

Nacho was doing well for the foxes and his presence for the defensive minded team was very very effective. Madison is overhyped to me. The foxes had balance when Nacho was there with his runs and passes, but immediately he was removed, Madison became Ghostmode and Vardy was more alienated. Who be Albrighton? Mtcheew. Leicester played better with Nacho on the pitch and you can goan hug transformer if you don't agree. Ndidi performed even better than those Leicester midfielders.

Arsenal is the better team overall. What were you expecting anyways.

Just Nacho has to really take this season like a blast just as Iwobi is doing right now. that's all.

Like I said, all those clubs will come to regret

Sporting Charleroi of Belgium striker, Victor Osimhen has been hit with a daunting task of deciding between sticking out with the club or returning to his parent side, VfL Wolfsburg of Germany.

Latest football news in Nigeria | 2018-10-22T23:32:56+00:00

Osimhen never found his scoring range nor playing time during three years at The Wolves, but footballlive.ng can report that he has now hit top vein of form with Charleroi, which he joined on loan this summer.

However, following his superlative performances in Belgium, which saw him net another brace of goals this past weekend, Wolfsburg have hinted at a move to recall him in January.

Osimhen, who was top scorer at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, is now turn between accepting to return to The Wolves or urging his agents to roll out a permanent deal for him at Charleroi.

All this is coming after Osimhen fired home two goals within a space of six minutes against Zulte-Waregem, which he had trials with this summer but was turned down on the grounds of poor fitness level.

It would be recalled that Osimhen joined Charleroi on loan from Wolfs till the end of this season, with a proviso to sign him on a permanent transfer for a fee in the region of £900,000.

At that time, Wolfsburg were ready to sell Osimhen, due to his inability to replicate his feats of Chile 2015, ‎where he scored ten goals to help the Golden Eaglets win the Cadet Mundial, and they paid €3m to sign him.

However, Wolfsburg now want him back, due to his recent rain of goals in Belgium, as Osimhen already has four in six league games and one in the Belgian Cup.

My brother, everybody has a story.

But know that staying in AJ is no disadvantage. The world is now a global village.

I don't know your level of education or skills you've acquired but just stay strong and work very hard at what ever you find yourself doing.

First of all, he has to look himself in a mirror to tell the man he sees in there that he aint no failure, make that man believe in himself, then make him sit to think and fashion a way out for himself. It is one thing to need a job but it is another thing, to want one.

Like u rightly said, everybody has a story to tell. No one ever had/has it easy as the road to success remains ever bumpy.

Now the question is, what TANGIBLE efforts av u made to get urself a job?

Who played 90 mins? Ademola Lukman

Ol' boy, you must be watching a different game. Lukman came in the second half, with about 10 mins or so to go. He contributed to Spurs 1st goal but didn't do much for the balance of the game.

O pari

andrew444:

He played 90 minutes not 10

But to be sincere the hype is 2 much here there is nothing special about the guy.

He is not better than the players in his position at the super eagles ,I don't think we need such players who are below average .

The only player deserve the eagles shirt is ademola lookman ,the rest people are hyping over here are nothing but crappy players

But one thing I hate about Nigerians once you are born abroad they will value you more than the footballers born in Nigeria .

actually I think there is a disadvantage or so, can you believe that a supervisor in lekki, at elegushi, refuse to give me a job even after his boss had OK it? all cos am from AJ and what pains me is he said I will steal and run away even going as far as complaining abt transport,

OK. I misspoke and I have noted the correction; however, it still doesn't change my opinion that he wasn't spectacular in any way, shape, or form. Compare his performance with what we got yesterday from the Nigerian trio of: Iwobi, Ndidi, and Iheanacho.
