Uganda was a solid opposition defensively. Nice test of our forward line. Success looked promising in the absence of Ighalo. So far, and for now I’m satisfied with Kalu, Chukwueze, Ighalo and Musa in our offense. In midfield, we can still rely on Iwobi and Ndidi. In defense, Ekong and Balogun. The rest still dey audition. That’s how complete our team is to be realistic if we are to compete with any team. Rohr still has loads of work to do IMO. 3 Likes |

Eseose9: They should just scrap English commentary for any game played in Nigeria. It is obvious Ikpeba and his co-commentator are both useless and should go try out another job. The sad thing is that there is an international school for commentary, but they probably think only coaches need to go for trainings. 1 Like |

Let us be honest, the Ugandan coach came here with a plan and executed it perfectly. Why the long balls from Nigeria still beats my imagination. The Ugandans are taller and more physical but yet we keep lobbing them high. The first half was better as there was some good build up play. I honestly would like to avoid this Ugandan side in the Nations cup for the following reasons 1. They are quite physical and will injure our players 2. They are really disciplined and very hard to score. 3. They know how to move the ball forward and if it happens during a counter attack then we might be hit hard. That being said, I must say I lost touch with our pattern and plan in the second half to be honest. Kalu tried to take on his man but no support from his right back so he ends up with 3 defender. Ekong kept lobbing the ball to who I don't know. We need to really improve our short passes. Nations cup will really test our strength. This I will like to see. Oh! Least I forget. Agu and the left footed kid put in a decent shift today. Better games to come 5 Likes |

Mikel Agu is a quality DM option. I think I will pick him over Onazi right now. Against a solid African opposition like Uganda, Agu stood tall. He may gatecrash the Final 23 if he finishes strong this season. Honestly, with Onazi away, I think we are covered in Agu but again we need to move in for Philip Billing soon. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

TheSuperNerd:Yes he is good but he needs to be careful with his tackling. I really wish he can study van bommel. Once he can avoid cards then we have one good midfielder in the making |

Utonwanne: Thanks. Like Eze(Cmf), Abdul (Amf), Agu(DMF), Kayode (Striker). These players should be given more minutes to prove themselves. We saw what Agu did today. Ogu should be sent parking. Onazi must be returned. 2 Likes |

Someone should tell ekong to keep passes simple on the ground, and pass to the nearest midfielder, than those long ball, he is not good at giving... The first half play was better than second half, and funny enough I blame ekong, when he came in, build up play from behind stopped.. And anyone that's knows rohr should advice him that next time, when he meets a team like Ugandan, turn thier strength into weakness, Ugandans became very rash with fouls at a point, using your arsenals like Kalu, chukwueze, Moses type of players who draw fouls in the penalty box would have been very wise... In my opinion all we had to do was to tell Kalu to stay close to the box 18, play an iwobi very close to him, and anytime little space is found, kalu should run in space and iwobi play a pass, trust, if not two penalties, at least we would have had one.. Just saying.. Good test overall.. Osimhen, chukwueze, Mikel Agu were very impressive.. Bright and better days ahead guys... 12 Likes |

The ugandans, re really a tough nut to crack, and were very physical especially in d second half. Agu really impressed me. I think his combo wit ndidi in d middle looks like a good prospect. Rohr still has a lot of work to do to get us in top shape for afcon. 1 Like 1 Share |

safarigirl: I watched from about 55'-70' and the Ugandans kept the ball on the ground, I do not think the pitch was that bad to be used as an excuse, however I didn't watc the first half so I can't effectively concluded. Meanwhile the commentator was the worst hands down. I mean how can you say that Jamilu replaced came in when Echejile was just about to retire? Is Idowu a joke to him? How can you not know that Paderborn is in the second division? How can you not even know Echejile's name? What was Supersports thinking? 1 Like |

I remember when I predicted Uganda as likely Upsetters during the mundial. They've now well smacked most of us in the face. SlayerForever: I still felt our boys would skin it at the end but it wasn't to be: They held us to a nil-nil on our own turf. AFCON will be TOUGH! |

Mickael2:We played on this same pitch in the first half and made decent passes. Personally, I will not focus on the commentary as it did not affect the tactics on the field. |
