It is harder achieving success playing offensive football but you do so building something formidable with time. I have always hammered that it takes time to build something formidable by sacrificing small gains to achieve something big in the end.

The picture showing Guardiola achieving almost the same feat with Mourinho despite doing it playing a possessive, offensive and attacking brand of football shows his impact.

Pep is truly amazing.
IMO offensive brand trumps conservative football in an ideal world.

Unfortunately the world has no place for idealism but realism. What works is different from what could work.

All strategies especially offensive can be effectively studied & clipped and often time it gets clipped by those not worthy.
Tiki-Taka ruled for 10yrs and then became a laughing stock afterwards. Look at Total Football of the Dutch too. Nothing is foolproof

To be safe, refine your strength to exploit your opponent's weakness.
What I want for SE is to develop intelligently to where it switch from parking the bus to sweet attacking based on the tide of the game.

4 games and you judge a player a flop ?no need to argue with you

Now let me correct you ,Taiwo didn't play from 2011 to 2013 don't make it look like he was there,he was only there for a season and spend the rest part on loan at qpr and dynamo Kiev

Once again only someone who knows nothing about football will judge a player with just 4 games .
He was a flop. Maldini said his signing was an error. My guy could attack but couldn't defend...I think age was catching up with him.

Spot on

Age had started showing by the time Taiwo got to Milan.

What made it a laughing stock?

Barcelona reigned for a good number of time.
Bayern Munich dominated the Bundesliga with the system smashing records.
Manchester City just smashed records in England.
Germany won the World Cup and the Euros
We are seeing clubs in England adopting possessive brands of football.
The Belgian side is not doing badly with it.

We do not seem to be doing that. That is my point.

By the way, the Dutch team is on the rise again.

Tiki taka has been successfully studied and worked against by Chelsea teams of the past years in the Champions league

Barcelona has not won the champions league in the past four years, that tells you something about tiki taka

No no he should stay behind, going to Milan will cut short his development

If indeed Milan are offering €12 million then he better go with no HESITATION, in fact grab it with both hands.

Clubs always pay more in the January transfer window when they get desperate. Come the summer they have more time to look at different options.

However, l am suprised a club like AC Milan will normally be looking for a top class proven and established striker to make am immediate impact and change things dramatically for them. Particularly in the January transfer window.

So if he declines he may not get the same offer in the summer at the end of the season.

Barcelona has not won the champions league in the past 4 years? who won the champions league 2015? maybe its stoke city

Seems Chelsea work worked against tiki taka why did they manage to win the champions league only once?

I can bet you have watch barcelona win the champions league 4 times in the past 12 years, real madrid also got 4 after winning 3 in a row,but you forget so soon that barcelona won the champions league lastly before madrid dominance with zidane

check before madrid 3 times in a row and tell me the team you find there

That's it. You can't compare if you do not watch others.

Italy, Germany and Spain have good second divisions as well.

They all do but they can not match the Championship in competitive quality and Finances.

The Bundesliga 2 is technically good but very slow, The Spanish 2nd division mimicks La Liga in the gulf between clubs and the finances are poor.

Portugal is the worst of the bunch you have mentioned.

12 million price tag comes with a lot of pressure, and for a teenager like Osimhen, it is not a good thing

Don't forget he got through a horrible time at Wolfsburg

I pray he doesn't go

Dude 2015 is four years ago, even if you consider it as three years it doesn't remove from what I'm saying

Barca with their tiki taka has been bundled out of the Champions league for the past 3/4 years

If Chelsea successfully works against tiki taka does it guarantee them the Champions league trophy, won't they have to face other teams?

Pffft

You have not given a single footballing reason. Is he the one who will make the money when they sign him? The boy should continue working with his current club at least until the end of the season. Milan is not going anywhere.

Bayern dominated Bundesliga but didn't dominate Europe. Was it tiki-taka that got them in the finals against Chelsea and Dortmund?
Manchester City are smashing records but can't win rat in Europe
Germany won WC and couldn't make it out of their group afterwards, Won Euros and was kicked out in QF afterwards
Belgium don't play tiki-taka in its entirety

What are you defending, any strategy worth its salt would produce result for a time but it eventually becomes caged.
Have you seen what Boga Jonito (or what do they call Brazilian style) has gotten Brazil in the last 5years both club and National team?

Funny you

Barcelona are not playing tiki taka under ernesto velverde , i taught you even know what you where saying

Barcelona last played tiki taka under luis enrique

When last did you even watch barca play?

Try and get your facts right next time

Germany won the world cup and they didnt make it past the group stage in the next one, so you are expecting germany to win the world cup back to back? clap for your self sir

The world cup is every 4 years for germany to win it during the 2014 is already a big achievement okay
