ONYEKURU LINK WITH PSG Everton in major fight to keep £20m star who has never played for club Date published: Monday 11th March 2019 10:17 Everton are ready to hand Henry Onyekuru his Premier League debut next season, but the Nigerian will need to be convinced to make the move. The 21-year-old was signed by the Toffees 18-months ago from Belgian side Eupen – but he has never played for the club due to work-permit issues But now Onyekuru would likely land a permit, as he is a regular for Nigeria and is one of the top-scorers in Turkey. Galatasaray would like to keep the player – but there is a major interest from elsewhere, including Paris Saint Germain. The French giants have been long-term admirers and they are ready to offer Everton a £20million deal, but they are not the only interested party as we understand fellow French sides Monaco and Marseille are also keen, along with Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and Sevilla. Everton will be left with the decision to make, as their scouts have been issuing glowing reports on his progress back to Marco Silva and his staff. Get the latest personalised 2 Likes |

Danielnino00: Our inability to qualify is not the blame but our lack of continuity. Manu Garba should have continued with the U20 team job but unfortunately, the NFF thought otherwise and now we are trapped in the shell of overaged players again. As I said, small gains, Big problems. 1 Like |

Starboytwo: You made a lot of sense Shehu is not bad o ,shehu has been injured but once he recovered he was drafted into the bursaspor midfield immediately ,he has even scored a goal ,he is no more in Cyprus Yes I have not been impressed by akpeyi We go dey manage uzoho ,he should be first choice goalie in Cyprus he is now . |

Alfryd: He should return to Everton if he can get work permit I prefer that to psg That same guy that have been insulting him for being in the Turkish league will not hesitate to insult him if seen in psg bench which is likely to happen I see nobody benching mbappe and Neymar at psg ,so what are onyekuru hopes there? Even draxler is a bench warmer there . 1 Like |

andrew444:so are you trying to say the club is intentionally stopping the work permit of a more talented player While an idiot was given game time Pls Liverpool have integrity, if they have not found him important then he would have gone alone if granted work permit to reasonable lower clubs lik sheyi ojo, Wilson clyene, in England. Liverpool enjoy their players been in England for better monitoring 1 Like |

If we had gotten any youth league..picking youngsters for u20 would not have been a problem for Aigbogun...U17 is easier because of mri 3 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: Sir, I beg to differ, Manu Garba's calling is U17 football. At the U20 World Cup, in our first match against Brazil, we were playing the same formation with the Brazilians. No holding midfielder, transition from defence to attack with over 3 goals in the first half (I think). The Brazilian coach brought in a holding midfielder (bocelli or so by name) in the first half. The game changed. Many Garba had no answer, he was moping. Except he has improved himself since then. In my opinion let him stick with U17. |

busky007: I don't normally use media posts to anchor my opinion in its entirety. We are largely anonymous here which is great. However, what you don't know is how well, l may or may not know, the coaches at Liverpool and thier off the record comments to me. Or what Alex or Critchy may have said about him. Solanke remains somewhat of an enigma to me. A good player who hasn't proved anything or done anything beyond showing potential. But was somehow sold for near £20 million to AFC Bournemouth that's completely baffling to me. |

andrew444: Let me explain getting a work permit in England is very difficult if you are not exceptional. KC was an exceptional youth talent and as such was able to pass the stringent requirements for Work permit in England. Getting a work permit for Belguim, Holland, etc Is quite easy. In this regard Onyekuru and Awoniyi will fail. There are ways around it but they haven't taken that option. |

komekn:it shouldn't baffle you. Every Liverpool fan know what Micheal Edward can do. Our profit this year proved it not godforsaken talent. He has bought quality players for little or nothing and selling players for over inflated prices. If high signing fee is talent then ighalo shud be the most talented naija player As for u knowing all Liverpool staff at Melwood and Anfield, why not do something for naija. Convince kloop to grant Awoniyi work permit and sheyi ojo playing time and naija football fans will sing ur name for long |

komekn: That's ridiculous he doesn't train in front of any of them so why would their opinion matter? The answer is that Liverpool have someone monitoring on loan players and Klopp will make the final decision based on the information they give him. |

Truidstar: ON POINT...i believe that Manu Garba and Nduka Ugbade should be our PERRENIAL u17 coaches...they have too successful there.. LET THEM KEEP THE PRODUCTION LINE WORKING..A perfect exampl of this style is Jose Pekerman...he won three u20 world cup for Argentina...they left him to be in charge of PRODUCTION..And he did not disappoint....Watch out his players Riquelme, Cambiasso,Burdisso,Gago,Banega,Di Maria,Aguero,Mascharano,Pablo Aimar, etc 2 Likes 1 Share |
