gamaliel9: He is just 19, these are the U23s. Chukwueze, just like Okonkwo and Michael belong to the U20s. It showed over the two legs. |

Earthquake2: Exactly, samu would miss a lot of big chances if he can't adapt to using his right when necessary. |

Lets realise dat even d best players have quiet games sometimes.. wer was ronaldo in d ucl first leg against atm.. wer was griezmann in d second leg against juve...so it can happen to anyone... So having a quiet game doesnt take anytim from d fact dat he is an immense talent.. Peace. 8 Likes 1 Share |

gamaliel9: That is how it is supposed to be if they progress well. Remember Mikel's 2003 U17 had some of them play the 2008 Olympics. 1 Like |

Good win but we need to drop this dream team tag. It was once cool but not anymore. Even the Americans who started it have since dropped it. 1 Like |

Earthquake2: Messi is predominantly a left footer. He uses his right foot only in situations where using his favoured left foot is impossible. |

wayodude: I don't see anything wrong with the "Dream Team" tag. It is a dream team: an avenue to assess and select players we dream of being in the Super Eagles. We aim to select our Dream Super Eagles team from the U23 crop. 1 Like |

Wow! To be honest, I had already written the team off, but they came out and lived up to their Billings and i'm eating my words already. Congratulations to the boys. I'm looking forward to the CAF competition. But, why is Igor Ogbu not getting the hype Ozornwafor is getting? |

Icon4s: sure, you realise that the context of the word 'dream' which you have described above differs from that of the original 'dream team' though, right? the foreign media love (irony) the name too at least i know they laugh at it and its annoying |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 10:22am On Mar 26, 2019 |
wayodude: The Americans had their own context of "Dream Team" and we have ours. Let the foreign media make enquiry on why we named ours "The Dream Team". 1 Like |
