Rohr doesn't make too many changes at once
That's true. The man is so conservative. I heard was a defender in his heydays & his assistant Amapakabo was a goalkeeper. Guess that's why he set his team up like that. Defend & Counter-attack.

Earthquake1:

Azubike is not half as good as you are hyping him

Otherwise he would be playing for Madrid or PSG
grin
That's not true. I never hyped him. I only stated his quality with respect to the current NT.

He has not improved since the olympics in my opinion.

Look at how moving to a better league has helped Omeruo and even Ekong.

There is no agenda against him and there is no guarantee that my opinions are correct. We are in a sports forum so you will hear different opinions.

I will be happy if Azubuike comes in and improves the team but i feel that he won't.

At the Olympics, he played in the Turkish 2nd division after getting signed up from Bayelsa Utd. His team was promoted to the 1st division but he opted for a move to Egypt, he has since signed for a highly ambitious Turkish team. Infact his club is a state sponsored team owned by Turkey's president Erdogan.
He has been solid for this team and they are in the champions league play offs.

From 2nd division to champions league playoffs is not regression brother.

Go find food chop abeg. Azubuike is a better passer than Iwobi? Chai Nigerians we don't value what we have. If azubuike is half as good as Iwobi let alone etebo he will be playing for one of the top 3 teams in Turkish football or at least get offers from better leagues.

No matter how rough diamond or gold be pple go notice am
Barryseal:

Azubuike's strength is ball distribution. You can't say the same of Etebor and certainly not Ndidi. Even Iwobi's ball distribution is poor, he's better running with the ball than sitting back to dictate the tempo of the team.
We went to the world cup and AFCON with 4 midfielders out of which 2 have retired. Yet you don't see Azubuike's relevance, even when you don't have any other player with his skill set.
In the end, Nigerians deserve what they get.

They are all good players

charlesemeka85:
Ovie ejaria will be a mainstay in the eagles team soon. Rohr is monitoring him closely. Azubuike okechukwu should play for the u23 for the 2nd time cheesy cheesy. Old man in young boy's skin

Azubuike has his own strengths and this is not the first time (video in question) I’ve seen him put in such performance.
Do we have players with that quality? I think Esiti is also pretty good with spraying long passes.

You certainly do not know what ball distribution is but I will help you. A player like Xabi Alonso is a perfect example of what a ball distrutor is. Do you see Iwobi as a player akin to Alonso?

It only becomes an assist when a goal is scored. I’m speaking of the games I’ve watched and I’m specifically talking about that quality.
And this is not comparing him to other players. Because other players def has what he doesn’t

Azubuike can't lace ndidi and Etebo's boots. Both have distinguished themselves in big competitions and leagues. Ndidi today is rated among the best young DMs in the world.

Na pple wey dey blind go agree that azubuike is better than ndidi

The definition of ambition is when a club founded in 1990 attracts big names like the ones you mentioned. There was speculations they made Ozil an offer this last transfer window.
You sound childish with your attempts at trolling.

Ndidi dts not a mediocre undecided, aside his Sterling performance against guinea,to me ndidi is just bang average in Nigeria jersey, nothing special abt him, even etebo most peeps don't rate here, outshined him during afcon undecided

Ndidi plays well in a certain system, He plays better when he owns the defensive midfield berth and not forced to play with another destroyer

Aribo will bring out the best in Ndidi

If you want to build a team's popularity, you go for names first. Excite the fans and announce yourself to the world. Fans of Robinho or Turan will buy replica jerseys and merchandise with their names.
If Enyimba signed up David Villa and Iniesta, do you know what that can do for Nigerian football?
Don't be naive.
Istanbul Basekhier have been runners up in the Turkish league 2 years in a roll. There's a football project going on there. I am correct to say they are ambitious.
