I want to presume you intended to say vitriolic.

Once again l will challenge you to quote just one post with vitriolic rhetoric against any Nigerian player.

But of course you will not you will go EVASIVE and hide.

You can make any assumption you like about me that's part of the entertainment of this forum.

With the same rationality on which TRIBALISM is based you have now decided who is a Nigerian and who is not. That's sad.

You have, once again, evaded the fact that you are always up in arms about anything Tammy, most of the time irrationally, because you are so filled with emotive prejudice and bias, you assume everyone is just like you, and misread jokes as seriousness.

No need to make any 'assumptions' of your person. The whole thread is quite familiar with you and your antics. So much so, you're too cowardly to acknowledge your misunderstanding of a post when you are called out for it, and you resort to EVADING the fact and harping on some other inconsequential thing, to divert from the point that you don't even have the basic sense of humor associated with a Nigerian, but you want to claim Warri every chance you get.

Warri is an attitude, a personality, a mindset, it is not something you conveniently hold on to when your Nigerian-ness is in question.

Stop harassing people because they make jokes and call Tammy's name. We don't owe Tammy anything on this thread, this is a Super Eagles thread, for Nigerian internationals. We will talk about Tammy the same way we talk about Harry Kane or Sterling. He doesn't know us and we don't know him.

PS: Glad you understood what I meant. That's all that matters
Good morning.

I knew when Newcastle were interested in signing ojo but Liverpool declined the offer which I believe both parties are regretting now.

It's only those who know little about the Scottish league will look down on the likes of rangers, Celtic and even Aberdeen. These are traditional British clubs with rich history and followership.

Great players have emerged from the Scottish league and moved on to bigger leagues and clubs.

Swedish great Larson moved to almighty barca from Celtic, dembele few seasons ago joined lyon from the same Celtic, nakamura is is rated as one of the best ever to emerge from the Asian continent and also one of the best free kick takers I have ever seen made a name in European competitions in the colors of Celtic, petrov moved from Celtic to Aston Villa which was a strong side then in the epl, van djke who is rated as the best cb in the world currently moved from Celtic to the epl just to mention a few.

Then when rangers and Celtic were steady performers in the UCL there were hard nut to crack for EPL teams in the competition especially fergie's man utd.

The Scottish league is poor but that doesn't rub off the pedegree rangers, Aberdeen and Celtic have in European football.

I remember when Celtic were battered 5 nil by Artmedia Bratislava? Lol that Artmedia team were no better than Bendel Insurance.

Good players start their careers in all sorts of places. The fact a few have come from the Scottish League doesn't really mean anything or significance. Many a premier league star has started off from Southampton. That doesn't make them a great club or even a good one.

Seriously... What more does QPR's Eze need to do to get a Nigeria call up?

QPR's Ebere Eze can't seem to buy his way into the Nigeria team at the moment, despite his excellent efforts in England.

Nigeria's latest squad call-up once again brought disappointment for admirers of QPR's Ebere Eze.

Ad
On Thursday, the Super Eagles named their 23-man squad to face Brazil in a prestigious friendly game scheduled for mid-October, with just one new addiction to the list in Slavia Prague's Peter Olayinka.

It meant that, once again, there was no space for the 21-year old, who has shown such good form that there has been reports he could be an English Premier League player sooner rather than later, with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly keeping close tabs.

In midfield, where Ebere would have fit in, there was a recall for Granada's in-form starlet Ramon Azeez as Gernot Rohr named six midfielders. That is the most he has listed since just before the Africa Cup of Nations, an area of clear deficiency.

Both call-ups are nothing if not thoroughly deserving.

Former junior international Azeez, who was in Nigeria's 2014 FIFA World Cup squad before slipping into relative oblivion, showed such strong performances this new season that he broke into the ESPN's Nigeria Power Rankings for August.

And what more can be said of Olayinka, who transferred his domineering league form into the UEFA Champions League as Prague went within a hair's breadth of a major upset at giants Inter Milan.

Add the stunning impact made by Glasgow Rangers' Joseph Aribo on his debut for Nigeria, and it is almost understandable why Eze is still on the outside looking in. Almost.

Midfield has been a problem area for Rohr from the very beginning of his rebuilding process. While his forward line and defence have seen relatively minimal churn, midfield has experienced more than its fair share of turnover, from Nosa Igiebor during the early days to this latest call-up of Azeez.

Granada CF's Ramon Azeez has earned a Nigeria call up after years in the wilderness.
Quality Sport Images/Getty Images
The German has, to be fair to him, come to something of a settled middle three for his 4-3-3 style. Prior to John Mikel Obi's retirement, the preferred selection was Obi, Wilfred Ndidi and Oghenekaro Etebo, with Alex Iwobi and John Ogu as backstops. Kelechi Iheanacho has also been deployed there occasionally.

With Mikel's injury absence, then dip in form and eventual retirement, his place was taken by Iwobi. But that area of the team continued to be lacking in numbers, especially after injury to Ogenyi Onazi.

One big criticism of that department has been a lack of creative juice. Almost all of Rohr's midfielders have been essentially defensive-leaning, when an attack-minded person was desperately needed.

Mikel did not appear particularly suited to the role despite early successes, Etebo has been tried there, as has Iheanacho before Rohr finally settled on Iwobi. The Everton man appears to be settling in there game by game, and occasionally offers glimpses of the crowd-pleasing footwork that gets fans juices going.

Overall however, he is a tidy player who just wants to advance the ball and keep play circulating. Which may explain why there remains a yearning for more. More creativity, more adventure, more invention.

Eze ticks those particular boxes. He possesses the nifty footwork, the eye for a pass, and the vision to get past players. His energy and defensive graft also make him suitable for a box to box role. Not to endow him with all-conquering abilities, but he has the looks of a good fit, especially for the long haul.

Joe Aribo recently received his first call up to the Nigeria side, after a stellar early season for Glasgow Rangers.
Mark Runnacles/Getty Images
That was, until Aribo came along. The Rangers man, in direct competition for the spot, came in like a whirlwind and blew all competitors away. It is only right that he has earned a second call. And it would take a real stinker for him to lose it now.

In danger, though, is Anderson Esiti, who may have earned a recall but played poorly in the last game when he made his return, after over four years in the wilderness. A second dodgy performance could prove fatal to his international career, and open the door to Eze.

There may also be an additional hoop to jump through. Although he is yet to make a competitive appearance, Eze was in the England setup for the UEFA Under 21 championships and Rohr told ESPN a year ago it could mean a longer route to secure the paperwork needed to get him to play in Nigeria colours.

That could well be a reason for his absence, even if a tenuous one, because if he is really needed and wanted by the coach, that paperwork won't be as big an obstacle as it seems.

It's a fact bro. It's like like Hazard was an elite goal scorer in the EPL , like Sallah, Aguero, Aubameyang, Vardy, Kane and Lukaku of this world, in the EPL.
so using Hazard as a reference point in terms of goal scoring in the EPL is dead on arrival.
His best season that he had his highest goals was this season. And the numbers were 16 goals I think. If someone like Kane had 16 goals in the EPL, it will be considered a poor season from him.

So yes, If Madrid bought Hazard to be an elite goal scorer that will average 30 goals a season, they just bought the wrong dude grin
Even if Hazard isn't expected to be a goal scorer isn't he supposed to be getting assists or shouldn't that also be expected of him? How many assists has Hazard made so far? what quality or impact has he made on the Real Madrid team since his arrival? Hazard as a known dribbler while in
England can such be said if him now in Spain?

What do you say to these questions that are craving for answers?, I'm listening bro

Stoke is bottom of the Championship. They lost again today. Etebo played 90 minutes.

Only 2 points after 10 games.

Etebo needs to get out or he will be in league 1 next season.

This is a bitter reality of football.

If your team is not playing well incidentally it's difficult for you to play well and be recognised. Although not impossible just very difficult.

Stoke will not be the first EPL team to drop into league one after a two seasons. Sunderland is another example.

As it stands it will be difficult for him to get a better club in England possibly in the Bundesliga, Seria A or La Liga.

Well that's for u, the Scottish league is not as bad as people see it and players have got big moves straight out of the Scottish league.

Talent doesn't hide itself, once a player is good no matter the league eyes will be on him.

He is decent but have to do more to get a chance in the super eagles.

Barcelona once bought a striker from Celtic and where did the best Defender in the world and most expensive until recently come from Van Dyke.

Just ask him when last a Scottish team made the Champions league group stages and what was their performance.

In Scotland you see unknown teams like St. Johnston, Aberdeen, Hibernian, Kilmarnock, St. Mirren, Motherwell, Livingston, Inverness, Dundee united, Dundee FC, Ross county, Hamilton Academical, Hearts lol... teams without European history.

My position has always been showing interests in Nigerians groomed abroad should not stop you from devoloping football domestically. The NFF, club management and all stakeholders in this need to be proactive.

It’s not a lot of work to court foreign bred players. compared to the enormous work needed to get our system working at home. The NFF on their part are only following the fastest way to get results. They are being lazy and not looking at the big picture - the huge potential in our homefront. Delayed gratification is not in their dictionary. Clubs as well are not looking to the future. In my opinion, I think it’s the general mentality. People want money sharp sharp.

Agreed without reservation or question

You just summarised the Naija mentality, remember 50 cent. "Get rich or die trying" l would add to that demonic proposition in the context of Naija Quick quick.

There is nothing misleading. Dembele was making the numbers in Scotland yet he never had a chance of getting a look in at international level. He was making the numbers and rumors of EPL persisted but what happened? Nothing. All was hogwash. If he indeed was offered 50 million and the offer was concrete then what stopped him making the jump??

He made the move to France eventually and for how much abeg?? 50 million? Looll

Good thing is he is now making the numbers again at Lyon and guess what? Scouts from the Big 4 leagues are now keenly hovering around the lad. How come such concrete interest didn't come his way while in Scotland? Only rumors and hogwash news.

The point is simple. Dembele in France is now getting better attention and taken far seriously than when he was in Scotland. Nothing misleading about that.

I know you a Dembele fanboy naa. Have you forgotten I used to tag you Dembele's Uncle? grin Back then when you walked in here and always had good things to say about the lad while you talked down our Nigerian youngsters. Indeed you have come a long way. Lol.

And I insist that what Ojo has achieved is basic. A 38 year old Defoe is tearing that lowly league to pieces. Week in, week out Defoe is still scoring in Scotland. Ojo as an attacking winger has to do more than he has done and his performances have been nothing spectacular at all. He had not had a storming game this season. Just basic and decent showings here and there. I know because I have taken the time to watch some of his games. And Villarreal struggling with Rangers is the point you wanna make? I guess Real Madrid struggling with Club Brugge also shows how really strong Belgium too must be and remember the Belgian league is classes above the Scottish league on the UEFA league strengths ratings. No.8 is not on same level with No.19.

Defoe is 36 and he would score goals in any league in the world irrespective of location and or style of football. Even now he walk straight into the SE. I guess his because he has never had football age he is still able to perform.

I have known Dembele for a long time right from when Fulham bought him from PSG. That meant I had a relationship with a number of people at Fulham and still do.

Emphasising and highlighting the exceptional attributes of a player. Does not mean pulling down others. I will say it again this kid was exceptional at youth level far and above all his peers. It was almost like he could slow the game down and play how he wanted. His finishing was just exquisite.

I have been to so many if his matches and right there met top EPL heads of recruitment not just the scouts. Then the lower EPL teams were dreaming about having him on loan.

Dembele was on the radar of every single EPL club but Fulham were greedy too wanting to get a huge payback. That greed resulted in him going for next to nothing to Celtic, Rogers convinced him and he wanted to develop further.

There was nothing sentiment based and or emotive about my view on Dembele. It was completely OBJECTIVE. He was the best youth player striker l have ever seen up close and personal.

However, you construed it to mean l was pulling Nigerian players down.

Dembele could be back in the EPL this January that will not be a suprise, he has never been off the radar of EPL clubs.

You can't tell me that the league was running on the sponsorship of SS. LMC has decided there will be no more title sponsor but there will be categories of sponsorship. Broadcasting partnership is just one of the many categories

The Sponsorship are not coming because there's usually lapses in what LMC feels and stakeholders (stinker; Club owner/Govt) feels.
Statistics is one thing they can use to convince any Sponsor, alas, they're poor on that.

Wilfred Ndidi - Underrated says Ighalo
   

Odion Ighalo has told SCORENigeria that Wilfred Ndidi has not been given his due credit in the Premier League despite his exploits with Leicester City in the past two years.

At the weekend, Ndidi was again outstanding as Leicester City recorded their biggest win in the league with a 5-0 pounding of Newcastle United.
“Ndidi has been doing great things in the Premier League, but he has not enjoyed the credit he deserves,” said Ighalo, who played in the Premier League with Watford before he left for the big money in China.

“He works very hard for his team and he has been consistent.

“He is one player with a heart of a lion.
“If he were English, they would have been praising him to high heavens.”

The 22-year-old Ndidi has been ranked as the best tackler in the Premier League season after season.

The defensive midfielder has so far scored six goals in 94 Premier League appearances for Leicester City since he moved to England in January 2017 from Belgian club Genk.
