iwobi was on the verge of breaking into arsenal's first team and as well highly rated by wenger who disclosed his displeasure not having him to turn out for england instead of nigeria. at first iwobi didn't welcome the idea but his dad chuka, uncle jay jay and pinnick convinced him in playing for us.

if iwobi wasn't capped on time and he went ahead to have a breakout season in arsenal that season as he did he would been capped by england at the u21 level
komekn:

Correction l don't ever recall Alex Iwobi rejectinga call to play for Nigeria.

He actually played for Nigeria even before he had played any first team game for Arsenal. It was after his Nigerian call up that he started to play for Arsenal.

You can make multiple speculative deduction about that.

He wasn't even an established England youth international.

imama no go see the lad give am chance for the u23 team, instead he will invite a player from the 2nd tier of austrian football who is not even a regular.

He won't be released there is no point. That 2nd tier player scored a goal and an assist btw.

According to TheGoodJoe he is soaking u knowledge.

Football is a very short term career tomorrow flop can become today's Star and today's Star tomorrow Flop.

KC is fast running out of options.

Being on the bench does not mean the player is not improving. Look at Foden in his last two performances for Manchester City which was absolutely brilliant even though he has been on the bench for years.

The point is too simple. Learn from a tactical manager
which you have agreed Rodgers is impeccable and you know his brilliance. Working with him for a year will do a lot of good than regular time in a conservative system. After that seek playing time.

You of all people should get the message.

Foden is enough for you to get it.

He should stay on the bench for the next 3 years undecided

Maybe he'll become world best by then

No one said that because players still have career goals to attain. Either way, working with a tactically sound manager even without playing will give the player room to learn things he would never learn playing regularly in a coach that is deficient tactically.

When he gets a run of games in a tactical offensive team, you will see the importance of gain indepth tactical knowledge. For now, you can make fun.

Look at Foden and his impact in his last games to understand the importance of gaining knowledge even while on the bench.

Osai is lightening fast as a winger.

Yes and Eze is a big lad. Could be a threat in the air with his height.

If they were in such a rush they should have bought Wilfred Zaha. What they have is a young man who needs time. He is already showing glimpses, his corners led to their 2 goals and if that winner wasn't cancelled it would have been 3.
they tried to get Zaha, but Palace wouldn't allow it. Some Arsenal fans are still bitter about the Zaha move that tanked, Pepe was the alternative

Eze is good but not a fantastic team player. Ovie ejaria seem more complete to me. Eze is an off and on player and really need to work on his work rate.

I'm impressed with osayi, he is robust, fast and skillful as well. A chance in the u23 won't be a bad idea for the kid

The term verge is ambiguous and pregnant with meaning.

First of all Iwobi was nearly released by Arsenal at 14 and 16. He was not considered a big prospect or potential England international. England did not rate him to be plain speaking.

Amaju had little if any input, however, JJay his uncle had the over riding influence within the NFF and over him. He even lived in Turkey as a toddler with his Uncle JJay. That in itself gives you an insight into his closeness to his Uncle.

You use the term break out season again not sure what you mean exactly. Iwobi played 13 games that season 2015/16. That's not particularly outstanding but very promising for a young player trying to find his way in big club like Arsenal.

Nonetheless, everything started to happen for Iwobi almost immediately, once he played for Nigeria. That's a fact.

Football is always unpredictable and there are many boys who played for England over and above Iwobi. Those boys have literally disappeared into obscurity.

Foden is on an upward trajectory he is 19 and he is playing in the first team. He is almost the darling Of English youth football.

KC is now 23 he is not a youth player anymore, he has been diminishing consistent and continously for the past three seasons.

He is not even getting on the bench, what on earth is he learning.

There gets a point when you have to face reality and the reality is KC is not in the plans of the Manager.
