Will be blood and thunder I tell you. Might even be more exciting than the Egypt vs Ghana game. Thanks goodness Azubuike and Awoniyi are in to give us a fighting chance at least.

True Sir.
We have good players in that U23 team but I am very scared about the technical input of our coaches.

Meanwhile, Mali has been knocked out after they lost their second game to Cameroon 0-1.

Any info on Egypt v Ghana?

I lack in depth knowledge of the players in the U23.

Please tell us more about the players. To say they are good. Is like presenting the starter of a three course meal and omit the main course and desert.

Well, it's not like the team has played together and assumed cohesion and stability. Loads of talents but little preparation. It's a 50-50

It is gon be quite tough. Nobody in our team is as exposed and experienced professionally as the trio of Daka, Fashion and Mwepu

So who made it to the top over the weekend?
Here is a review of Nigerians that made the team of the week and also featured in other important stats courtesy of WhoScored.

1. Cyriel Dessers makes the TOTW in the Eredivisie with the maximum possible points of 10.0, as well as Chidera Ejuke
2. Onyinye Ndidi takes a commanding place in Premier League's best XI at the heart of the midfield.
3. Dominic Iorfa takes his turn at Center Back in the Championship Best XI, after Tosin Adarabioyo was listed in last week's Best XI
4. Ebere Eze is the highest rated player in the English second tier with 7.54 points. Ovie Ejaria, on his part has climbed up the ranking to the 5th best player with a rating of 7.33.

Cream always rises to the top, another player knocking on the door of the SE. Was a RB but has become a quality CB.

Guys, look another thing here with inviting the likes of Ejuke, Okereke, Onyekuru and even Azubuike Okechukwu....

Their clubs will only release them between 11th and 19th of November.

Now, with them we can breeze through the group with ease and play in the Semis on the 19th but after that they are gone and unless they did a good job of winning that semi final game, we will be stuck having to fight it out with whosoever in the third place game.

Now only 3 places are guaranteed from Africa. Imagine losing all those invited star pros after the 19th and we have to play the third place playoff... What are we left with?

On the other hand, we could make the final with them and their leaving won't matter anymore coz making the final is already instant qualification. All that is left is a fight for the title.

So guys this is not so straightforward. Dumping several of the currently invited players who are sure to stay with the team till the 22nd should we make it out of the group FOR players who will be gone after the 19th is a #Risky game.

We are just making the best of the situation. Perhaps the coaches should have invited a few more quality players but they obviously didn't do their calculations well enough as regards to who we need between the 11th and 19th and who will be around beyond the 19th.

I don't think we would have been making any mistake if we had invited those Players you mentioned if the coaching Crew had done their calculation well

I mean, We are talking about the OLYMPICS here and the best of the best is required to make a repeat of the 1996 Atlanta Gold winning feat came 2020 OLYMPICS beginning with the Qualifiers presently on going.

Although the present assemblage are not doing badly by the way judging by their last outing against COTED'IVOIRE because they played very well but just unlucky to concede that dubious RED CARD leading up to the PENALTY and an unfortunate Goal being awarded as a result of the penalty.

Above all, The commentary above not withstanding, I believe that we can overcome this ZAMBIAN side that played out a 0:0 scoreless Draw with the SOUTH AFRICAN side that just garnered 4 points following their victory over COTED'IVOIRE earlier today

So knowing about the outcome of the early game today should be a confidence booster for the Olympic Eagles to secure the 6 maximum points possible in the 2 group stage matches remaining beginning with the tonight Zambian fiesta.

Thumbs up for your submission though.

Nigeria boss Gernot Rohr will make a late decision on whether to include Joe Aribo in his starting line-up for Wednesday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin in Uyo.

Aribo reported for international duty on Tuesday morning after a long trip from the United Kingdom and Rohr has suggested that it will be difficult for the Glasgow Rangers midfielder to make his full competitive international debut as he could be suffering from tiredness.

Speaking at Tuesday's press conference, Rohr told reporters including allnigeriasoccer.com : ''Aribo traveled all night long from London to Lagos to Abuja and then arriving now, I have not even seen him yet. It will be very difficult for him to start the game.

''I want to see in the training session how he is physically, our training session is late at 6pm to give them opportunity to sleep this afternoon.''

London-born Aribo has emerged as one of the influential players in the Super Eagles team after the Africa Cup of Nations, scoring in back-to-back matches against Ukraine and Brazil.

''If Aribo is fit, of course now he is one of our key players, if he is not fit I don't want to take any risk for injury and we will decide in the last moment tomorrow if he can start the game or not

''We see that he's doing well in his club, even in the Europa League but this is a special situation now and we have to manage it,'' Rohr added.

Should he step out onto the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium turf against the Squirrels, even for one second, the former Charlton Athletic star will become cap-tied to Nigeria for life.
