Philosopher1979:

That is the problem. These foreign born or European players are overrated and simply have more opportunities. The Zambian team we defeated had higlly rated players in these Leagues. Abeg make we hear word. For example, someone born in Ajegunle might be more brilliant than a Harvard graduate, he might just need a chance.

Are you sure this your Mwetu is better than Kelechi Nwakali or Taiwo Awoniyi?. It's all a question of perspective. The problem is that normally, a player is expected to peak from the age of 25 and so players develop at a different rate also some players are simply not given a chance to express themselves. For example, Kelechi Iheanacho scores everytime he plays, yet the coach benches him. Being in a good team or league is sometimes about luck.

Let me be philosophical like your name.

You don't have a comprehensive understanding of the concept of OPPORTUNITY it seems. But you have opened the door on this most important component in life.

In life irrespective of the endeavour the most important thing in my opinion is OPPORTUNITY.

Then the next thing is what you do with that opportunity.

Going to Harvard is about opportunity not neccesarily intelligence.

You will need the opportunity to harness, develop, enhance the potential you have.

Unfortunately a boy from a very poor background will not have private tuition the best environment and or encouragment to enable him succeed. As a consequence his potential dies almost before its even realised.

This is where the issue of OPPORTUNITY must be given fairly not by favoritism but merit.

But is even merit a balanced approach that ensures equity and fair play. Why is it that across the world the children of the elite continue to extend thier elitism from generation to generation. In my opinion, it is because they have caged OPPORTUNITY for themselves. They go to the best schools, have private tuition and enhance thier potential by association as well.

As a result getting that opportunity for those not so well office like climbing a mountain. It's possible but far from easy.

I was opportuned to have an Uncle who was a Permanent sec in the state ministry of education. Scholarships were given to the state by a number of rich donor countries. The purpose was to give those scholarships to the less privileged. Unfortunately much to my horror they gave the scholarships to thier children and the already rich and politically connected.

Effectively they had denied those most deserving OPPORTUNITY.

KC has been given a multitude of opportunity but has not used it. You are being emotive, 50 games in the EPL and 4 goals is simply FAILURE. There is no way it Canberra dressed up. That idea that he scores every time he plays is delusional.

Eagles are presently topping the group
A late equalizer from Lesotho resulted in a 1-all draw with Sierra Leone.

Ndidi is still Nigeria's best player

I now believe in club form and country form

Those that didn't perform for Nigeria in their last matches didn't perform today despite their outstanding performances for their clubs

Moses Simon, Ekong, Akpeyi

I hope there is flood light in the stadium, the place is turning black .

The flood light is perfect. The stadium is well lit and as bright as day.

The camera is just bad
