somehow:All this political things. If Not for Government resources, can Edo Queens attract the same sponsorship drive like Insurance would do? Does the Edo Queens have any history of producing stars to the National Teams across all levels? Instead of improving on the bonuses, allowances and sign on fee for Bendel insurance in order to attract the best of the best around the country to the club, the reverse is the case. If you prob very well, you would find out that everything is meager and not substantial. Else that decision wouldn't have been taken for it would amount to account draining to the detriment of the politicians in the state 1 Like 1 Share |

Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and Chelsea-owned winger Victor Moses are the joint-highest paid Nigerian players on the books of Premier League clubs, according to a study by Spotrac. The Foxes' payroll for the 2019-2020 season shows that Ndidi earns £3,900,000 per annum, making him the fifth highest earner at the King Power Stadium outfit behind Jamie Vardy (£7.28m), Kasper Schmeichel (£6.76m), Johnny Evans (£4.16m) and Adrien Silva (£4.16m). Moses, who is spending the whole of this season on loan at Fenerbahce, also takes home £3.9m every year (£75,000 per week) and the right winger is the third highest paid Chelsea loanee. The third ranked Nigerian highest earner in the English topflight is out-of-favour Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho, with guaranteed wages of £60,000 per week. Former Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi pockets a total of £2,600,000 per season (£50,000 per week), making him the fourth highest paid Nigerian footballer, and Bournemouth's Jordon Ibe is next with weekly wages of £38,000. Henry Onyekuru could reportedly leave Monaco already months after £12.5m Everton exit With Wissam Ben Yedder and Islam Slimani netting 14 goals and seven assists between them since the start of the Ligue 1 season, it’s no wonder that Henry Onyekuru is barely getting a look in at Monaco. The Principality club paid £12.5 million to sign the Nigerian international over the summer (Goal) but, like so many of Monaco’s purchases since the esteemed sporting director Luis Campos defected to Lille, Onyekuru has failed to live up to expectations – not to mention his hefty price-tag. Injuries haven’t helped of course but, even when the 22-year-old is fit, he has remained out of favour. Coach Leonardo Jardim has handed Onyekuru just two league starts – and they both came in August. And, according to Sporx, things have got so bad that Onyekuru could be on his way back to Galatasaray in January. A right-footed forward who wears his first name on his shirt in homage to his icon Thierry Henry, Onyekuru produced 16 goals and six assists as Gala won the Super Lig title in 2018/19. Now, negotiations are underway regarding a return to the Istanbul giants on loan with a £2 million temporary fee being mooted. Suddenly, Everton won’t be having too many regrets about cashing in on a player who, back in 2017, looked like one of the club’s most exciting signings in years. The Toffees paid £7 million to sign Onyekuru from KAS Eupen two years ago, fighting off almost half of Europe along the way. But thanks to work permit problems which denied him the chance to ever play a Premier League game, Onyekuru was gone – sold for a £5.5 million profit. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/11/18/henry-onyekuru-could-reportedly-leave-monaco-already-months-afte/ |
