they will prefer playing tammy unless a non british coach takes over from lampard. sentiment aside osimhen is better than tammy to me. he is stronger and faster while tammy is easily bullied by defenders. Kbs468: 1 Like |

andrewbaba44: Solanke is brilliant when it comes to tactics. He is a young man I enjoy watching when it comes to tactics because I learn a lot when I watch him play. I still see Solanke picking up form in the coming years. He is yet to find his groove in Eddie Howe's play book. |

Carlo Ancelotti was reportedly left ‘disappointed’ by Arsenal’s decision to appoint Mikel Arteta instead of him. The Italian is expected to take charge of Everton after his sacking from Napoli, but it is understood the Gunners were his first choice. According to Italian journalist Fabio Santini, talking to 7 Gold’s Il Processo show, Ancelotti had agreed in principle to take over at the Emirates only for Arsenal chiefs to pull back and instead appoint Arteta. |

i agree on Ac milan not attracting players anymore but not man united. the management of man united is trying to correct mistakes made after fergie's retirement which is signing of expensive big name players who took home large chunk of wages every week but never played their hearts out for the team. this is the major reason why the club hierarchy want to focus more on British players who will play for the shirt and brand. Manchester united is still very rich and can bring in any player they desire but that have failed the club in the past which is the main reason the rebuilding process was implemented. Pogba will be sold next summer which will yield atleast 120m pounds and will be reinvested in the recruitment of younger and hungry players. young will be allowed to leave after the expiration of his current, matic is likely to leave next month or latest in the summer. here are players likely to join man united next month/summer any of maddison, eriksen, havetz and fernandes sancho- dortmund haaland- salzburg Soumare- lille andrewbaba44: |

the reason is because barca with the presence of messi is still up there ie la liga and ucl contenders every season which makes it more attractive than the current united side that even struggles to qualify for the uel. the so called big players that joined barca how many succeeded and played up to expectation? i am saying this not out of hate nor prejudice but barca will become less attractive once messi leaves. the signs are there already so prepare yourself for the worst. even the reappointment of pep won't help the situation. clubs do face transition periods and will never remain at the top for long. great teams like real madrid, liverpool, bayern, juventus, inter,ac milan, arsenal and man united currently, barca before the coming of rijkaard, ajax etc once faced this periods at one stage. andrewbaba44: |

barca were willing to take the risk to pay such for him but mind you neyma was already a star and earned big in the colors of santos before leaving for europe do you know neyma had trials at madrid but they turned him down because he was too skinny? that was when he was 15-16 years old. even when he was shinning in the brazilian league and national team as a rookie madrid would have snapped him up if they wanted but was not swayed by the hype and noise about him then with their experience with robinho as a lesson. andrewbaba44: |

Dutch-born striker of Nigerian parentage Joshua Zirkzee scored on his Bundesliga debut for Bayern Munich as the champions recorded a 3-1 win against Freiburg in a matchday 16 fixture at the Schwarzwald-Stadion on Wednesday night, allnigeriasoccer.com reports. The 18-year-old came off the bench in the 90th minute with the scoreboard reading 1-1, replacing Barcelona loanee Philippe Coutinho and he had a big say in the outcome of the game. Two minutes into his debut, he slipped the ball though goalkeeper's Flekken legs after receiving a pass from Serge Gnabry to make it 2-1. Lewandowski's 16th minute opener was cancelled out by Grifo on 58 minutes, before Zirkzee's game-winner in injury time, then Gnabry made sure the points were safe when he scored Bayern's third goal. Aged 18 years and 210 days today, Zirkzee is the youngest ever Nigeria-eligible player to score in the German Bundesliga. A Netherlands U19 international, the prolific center forward made his first team debut for Bayern Munich against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League exactly a week ago. |

charlesemeka85: Yes neymar was already a star at santos and even earning better salary than many european players Most teams experience with brazillians made them not to purchase neymar Yes madrid would have snapped him up Finally neymar was even worth more than the hype |

i never told you they will seize to be a top team and big sporting brand in Europe but are likely to lose its charm and glamour. Barca's biggest problem is not finding a replacement for messi, xavi and iniesta from other teams in europe but the low quality in the la masia currently. barca is an institution and it takes an exceptional talent who is groomed outside of the la masia to excel in barca. have you ever wondered why many players brought in by barca from different clubs in europe looks confused, mediocre and ordinary when playing for the team? barca's tactics which was introduced to the team by late johan cruyff and resurrected by pep when he replaced rijkaard is more than mere tactics but philosophy, tradition and culture imbibed to the players right from their nursery stages in la masia and why it worked well for pep was that the main component of his team then which were messi, xavi, puyol, pique, valdez and iniesta where from the root of the club. Barca and ajax share the same culture, philosophy and tradition which is grooming talents from the root with a particular tactics and style of play which is "total football" invented by the Dutch in the 70s Why do barca occasionally bring back some of the La masia products who left for first team football in other clubs both in Spain and other europeans leagues? andrewbaba44: |

Villarreal are exploring ways to sell Samuel Chukwueze for far more than his buy-out clause of 60 million Euros with Chelsea the latest suitors for the dazzling Super Eagles winger. According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Villarreal now want to extend Chukwueze’s contract and that way increase his buy-out clause to a staggering 80 million Euros. This will make the exciting youngster the most expensive Nigeria star ever. And Chelsea, who have been monitoring Chukwueze, have 175 million Euros to spend next month for attacking reinforcements after the Premier League club were cleared to be part of the transfer window after a ban. Chelsea believe ‘Samu’ is the future after Willian and Pedro would have quit Stamford Bridge. Interestingly, Chukwueze came close to joining another London club Arsenal four years ago, but transfer talks broke down and he joined Villarreal for a bargain 500,000 Euros. |

Kbs468:Oh you mean benching Batshuayi and Giroud for Tammy is based on sentiment by Lampard. My man football is all about trust and Tammy has not failed Lampard and i want to tell you Tammy is better than Batshuayi. Oh Osimhen,i don't want to make the comparison but i don't see Osimhen joining Chelsea with Tammy available but if he does then i will be extremely happy as a Chelsea Fan, meaning we are going to have reminiscent of Yorke and Cole of old Man Utd. 2 Likes |

komekn: Apologies accepted but I must iron this out to avoid any future re-occurrence. Your moniker was given the mention on countless occasions at the committee. Are you saying you didn't see those mentions? Meanwhile you were very active here responding to your mentions while you ignored the ones that were calling you to come and complete your tasks. The Post containing the voting procedure was posted and reposted almost on daily basis for ten good days. If you were not clear on whether to be part of the voting or not why not ask? Besides, I am sure you saw other Committee members Voting. You were even part of the committee last year and you still voted, why will the procedure be different this year when it was not stated? The house gave us that mandate and not Icon4s. Please let's try and be more committed in our future engagements. Thanks. 2 Likes |
