Saka is actually deputizing as a full back because of injuries to the 2 natural holders in Kolasinac and Tieney though.

Ozil surprisingly played well today by the way.

In Truth, Arteta isn't a Guendouzhi fan from the look of things but he has been one of the best players so far this season

Nelson played more minutes than necessary today ooo to me indeed while the strike Force was just too wasteful also
yeah i watched the game all through.

I know these youngsters are seeing game time cos of no other option..... Esp that Nelson and Willock.

Epl and its funny strides

The Southampton battered by Leicester, drew with Arsenal and eventually beat the Chelsea team that tutored Mourinho's Spurs days ago. The same spurs team that beat Southampton o.

how

What he said is self explanatory nah. Such a striker can get his team relegated even though he might generally have a good stat. Imagine going barren in 6matches only to score a hat trick in the 7th, followed by a brace in the 8th to make it 5goals in 8matches. This is where we say stats are like mini skirts, they don't reveal a lot about the game. Imagine if his team lost by a lone goal in each of those 6matches he couldn't score, his team would be languishing in the relegation zone while his stats would look shinny. I prefer a player that scores once in a every match, than one that scores a hat trick in one match out of 3, without sniffing the post in the other two.

Talk about important goals and, or scoring when necessary wink

To think that he was subbed in for Dennis makes it even more interesting. This would be more like handing over the Barton, should this be Dennis's last match in the colours of Brugge smiley smiley

Good

Exactly and they are not willing to mature up with the opportunity

Indeed it's quite pathetic actually.

I can't believe Arsenal would go 11 EPL matches with just a victory all along but here we are at the mercy of failure.

Interestingly, Chelsea and Man United are up next for Arsenal in the EPL on Sunday and Wednesday next week

In summary he lacks consistency but I believe he will work on that with time. Remember he is in his debut season in Belgium and everybody must not be an osimhen

NFF set to appoint European coach for Super Falcons

Determined to make the Super Falcons a stronger team that will once again return to the winning ways, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to announce the substantive head coach of the senior national women’s football team.

Newsmen report that another European coach will lead the reigning African Women’s Cup of Nation (AWCON) champions to ensure that the team continues in the foundation already laid by the erstwhile Swedish coach, Thomas Dennerby, who quit the job earlier this year.

According to sources very close to NFF hierarchy the application for the vacant post will open after Christmas celebration although many indigenous coaches have thrown their hats in the ring to try their luck.

Club Brugge welcomed Zulte-Waregem to the Jan Breydelstadion in their final game of 2019 on Thursday evening.

The home team ran out comfortable winners, thrashing the opponents 4-0 thanks to a double from Nigeria U23 international David Okereke, and Krepin Diatta and Ruud Vormer adding to the goals.

Okereke was influential after coming off the bench to replace compatriot Emmanuel Dennis in the 59th minute, scoring a pair of goals in the space of three minutes.

Two minutes after his introduction, the Nigerian doubled the advantage, before making it 3-0 in the 64th minute as he beat a Zulte-Waregem defender and fired a left-footed strike past goalkeeper Sammy Bossut.

Okereke ended the first half of the season as Club Brugge's joint leading scorer in the league with 9 goals from 17 games, level with Hans Vanaken.

The 22-year-old has been involved in 27 matches in all competitions since his big money move from Spezia in the summer of 2019.

Club Brugge, who top the Belgian First Division A table with 49 points from 20 games, travel to Anderlecht in their first league game of 2020 on Sunday, January 19.

Iheanacho should better seek for a move away from Leicester in January .even if its on loan. It doesn't matter how well he is soaking knowledge under Rodgers. the man won't give him enough game time.. Rodgers isn't a good man manager as oga Joe is trying to tell us... At Liverpool he discarded players at will.. Iheanacho shouldn't be his latest victim .

Eze VS Ejaria

Eze's advantages

More intelligent
More instinctive
More creative

Ejaria

More robust
More atlectic
Better mentality

My judgment :Eze is a world class player in the making and we need him more than Ejaria, I think we already have a similar player to Ejaria in Aribo
