To buttress your point tell me one striker that has left French league and equaled hIs goal tally in the EPL, apart from Drogba who only spent 4 years in the French league and 9 years in the EPL. My view he was made in the EPL but started in the French league.

Anthony Martial.

My goodness you are using U17 youth football as basis for technical competence.

That's very ill advised and very far from being objective.

That is like saying Arsene Wenger did not know what he saw in Fabregas when he signed him after his display at the 2003 U17 and not long from then he started playing for the Arsenal main team. Guardiola signed Eric Garcia after studying his games for the Junior team of Barcelona.

Foden was tipped as a Guardiola player when he was playing Junior football at Manchester City.

You can judge a players ability to suit into a tactical philosophy from Junior football.

I would disagree very strongly with regards to your comparison between Oruma and Okocha they were in direct competition.

However, that competition brought animosity of you are familiar with Nigeria football you will know about rancour it created.

In my view Okocha particularly early on was very wasteful in show boating and playing to the gallery and not the team.

Oruma on the other hand did not have the frills bur on occasion was more effective but we never got to see it consistently because the team tactics could not accommodate them both playing at the same time.

Oruma was not in competition with Okocha.
Okocha was way ahead of him

Anthony Martial.

You are actually correct very correct.

I forgot about him he came to United as a teenager in 2015 after two seasons in French league one with stupendous transfer fee at the time and after 5 seasons at United forgot he was actually French.

Similar to Drogba came from French league but made in the EPL.

22 years old captain Stephen Keshi led Green Eagles against Idomitable Lion of Cameron(1984 Afcon final)in Ivory Coast which Nigeria lost 3-1.

Nigeria team was very young with Peter Rufai, Patrick Okala,Raymond Best,Sunday Eboigbe,Ademola Adeshina,Humphrey Edebor,Henry Nwosu,Rasheed Yekini,Yisa Sofoluwe,Chibuzor Ehilegbu,Clement Temile,Stephen Keshi with old warhorse Mudashiru Lawal.

The team find it difficult against very experienced Cameroonian team that was full with players from Espana 82 World Cup.The Cameroonian team did not lose a single match but failed to qualify from group stage in 1982 World Cup.

This was a Cameron team young Green Eagles led by Keshi faced in the final, but I will never forget the semi finals match with young Peter Rufai showed his class but injury kept him out in the final and Patrick Okala was in goal.

I disagree with you.

We are talking about technical ability and skill a player who has been at City from the age of 8 has been playing with first team players from age 15. Was on first team sheet at age 16.

That means he is tutored and trained in the required skill set, the technical aspects of the game and the philosophy of Pep. You can't use that as a basis for a general assumption.

Even Fabregas was at Barcelona when Pep was there getting an education on the best of technical football. He came at Arsenal in 2003 and within two years he was in the first and a year later he was playing for Spain first team.

I told you about Beale former assistance manager at Sao Paulo now assistant manager to Gerrard at Rangers.

He was in charge of U12 development at Liverpool that will give you an idea about the level of coaching for these kids.

With regards to the bold you can judge a players technical ability, skill, team cohesion, vision and decision making ONLY in a team playing quality technical football. Not as an individual by himself.

The you can see how well he can fit into your team ethos and philosophy.

Osimhen's Manager and Brother-in-law on Osimhen transfer speculations

Note: Osita is not Osimhen's agent but his manager. Agent is Jean Gerard Benoit.

“I can say that, for now, Osimhen hasn’t agreed anything with Napoli or another club. I can also deny that he dreams of going to the Premier League," Okolo told Naples-based station, Radio Marte.

“I don’t know why [the press] says certain things. Naples is a fantastic city and Napoli are a very good team.

“I’m always honoured whenever I hear these links, but for now there’s no deal in place, even if negotiations with them are ongoing.

“He wants to play regularly, we’re not going to repeat certain bad experiences from the past.

“The Napoli fans are fantastic, their stadium is beautiful. I can only speak well of Naples and its team.”

“The real problem with Italy is racism.

"I know it happens all over Europe, but in Italy it happens a bit more often compared to elsewhere.

“I know Napoli fans aren’t racist. I have the video of them wearing masks for Koulibaly.

“Although Napoli fans aren’t racist, many others are. Naples may be the right destination for Victor, but he still must make a decision.”

You are forgetting Amunike worked with Bonfere Jo (Dutch Tactician very familiar with the total football art) for years, from the time of Westerhoff to the time of Atlanta.

You forget Amunike worked with a grandmaster of the art of total football, Van Gaal. You forget Amunike was a team mate to Guardiola. You forget Amunike had his coaching training at Barcelona.

When Amunike coached the U17, he delivered a tactical masterpiece that was studied by the selected technical team of fifa and admired.

In the crust of his Van Gaal style play in the U17, Osimhen was not just a player but a pillar of the team upfront.

Osimhen also flourished in Siasia's expansive football. There is no possible way you can tell me that Osimhen will not fit in like a glove into the possessive football play of Arteta who is also from the La Masia football school.

It is impossible.

The funniest and craziest is how "everyone" (okay, not exactly every citizen but definitely a very large number of citizens across all 50 states) in USA kinda suddenly forgot about the presence of Covid-19 and began those protests in super packed crowds and how the police also came out in numbers. I looked at the gatherings and wondered... "Oh so social distancing is out the window now? Whatever happeneed to avoiding crowds."
Anyway, thing is people have died from the virus. And it was bound to happen as it's a fast spreading virus.

It's well. Soon it'll be all over.

“I have worked with many coaches like James Peters, Clemens Westerhof, Carlos Queiroz, Louis van Gaal, Sir Bobby Robson and Jose Mourinho,” he told Spn Africa.

“If I am to select one, I will choose Queiroz who I worked with while I was at Sporting Lisbon.

“He knew what I could do and believed in my abilities.

“However, I appreciate all the coaches I worked with because I learned a lot of things from all of them.”... Emmanuel Amunike. shocked

Queiroz is a coach I respect so much but I am shocked how highly Amunike rates him. I will post some excerpts to show how great this man is to football.

Excepts on Carlos Queiroz (A football Mastermind)

He started with his country’s U20 side, proving to be successful as a golden generation of players consisting of the likes of João Pinto, Luís Figo and Rui Costa amongst others won two consecutive U20 World Cups in 1989 and 1991.

Whilst working in the States, he co-authored Project 2010, highlighting strategies that the United States Soccer Federation needed to put into place to win the World Cup by 2010 – which was 12 years away from the time of publication.

The 114-page dossier, although somewhat unreasonable at some points, was incredibly detailed. It emphasized on the changes the USSF needed to make in order to bring success in the future, going from fluctuations right from the U12 level whilst also mentioning the fundamentals required at college, state and national level, amongst others. Rather hysterically, though, the whole process was compared to the United States’ success with their Apollo XI mission. Nevertheless, the plans and overall document were incredible and insightful, giving the world an idea that Queiroz would not let up when working on a project.

In the 2002-03 season, Queiroz and Manchester United won the Premier League after a disappointing finish in the previous season. The assistant’s influence was greatly praised and was fundamental to the team’s success. It was revealed that he was in charge of several of the team’s training sessions and drills while his incredible planning and tactical nous was crucial in preparation for the Red Devils’ upcoming matches. He was also important in United’s signing of a certain Cristiano Ronaldo, who he recommended to Sir Alex Ferguson midway through the 2002-03 campaign, thus laying the foundations for another incredible talent to light up the hallowed Old Trafford turf.

Ferguson emphasized upon Queiroz’s thoroughness in the preparation for their semi-final clash against Barcelona in 2008. His defensive stability was highlighted by the fact that he set out Paul Scholes and Michael Carrick to bring some more solidity and astuteness against the mercurial Barcelona attacking line. The strategy and planning worked as the Catalan club failed to score across both legs before United went on to beat Chelsea on penalties in Moscow. That would prove to be Queiroz’s last match with Manchester United,
