Yes. It will. It will extend into 2021 for all football games for both clubsides and national teams.

And Kingsley Ehizibue is on break but he and his side Koln must be getting ready for Preseason action. I have yet spotted their friendly games schedule. I will check that soon again. Thank you.

Thesupernerd,
The 5 substitutions per match of a thing, will it also apply to national teams football?

BTW...it's been long you updated us about our own Usain Bolt -Kingsley Ehizube.

Today is inevitable. The EPL will be discussed today as we have two Nigerians battling for UCL tickets in same EPL. So convos are bound to arise. No wahala. But not that on a day with no EPL football or no discussion whatsoever, someone chooses this thread to come dump an unrelated and derailing post about the EPL or la Liga or whatever else or some foreign player and want us to look at it. I will report that post without hesitation.

Semid4lyfe, Dominique. Please Sir and Ma. Kindly take note.

Hope when our naija players are being compared to others European players you people won’t call it derailing sha

You are still within the bounds naa when you mention them in comparison with even Pele if you want.

You are still discussing Nigerian players all the same. wink

Iheanacho is in the discussion not so? It is very simple. It must have a Nigerian connection mainly. Ofcos in the end, such discussions have the potential to derail or bring in more talk but it will eventually end and resume another time. We will always have to come back to the main issues which is what this thread is about.

Cancel what??
The only reason why it will be cancelled is if the pandemic gets worse next year..

Japan have spent billions of dollars to organise the tournament o.. they can't just postpone it like that!

Moreso, I don't see how the Olympics will affect European football, euro 2021 and Copa America..
It is u-23 no that would participate in the football event.

You can say they should scrap the football event, but to cancel the game altogether is a big no! Japan may be a rich country, but not to the extent that they will allow billions of dollars worth of investment to go to waste like that...

BTW, I read in the news that the French ligue1 reported a loss of over 1 billion euros as a result of cancelling the French league.. imagine how much cancelling the Olympics will cost...

There is no way a discussion will go one way... There will always be derailment...

Andrew, you no talk lie at all.

So Rodgers is starting Nacho today. A very crucial game like this. Will watch with keen eyes.

I hope they win today against Man Utd or hope for Wolves to do the Lord's work at the Bridge in case they play a draw with Man Utd cheesy

Meanwhile... Nuno Espirito to Adama Traore as they take on Chelsea in battle for a European place. grin

Nuno: "Adama, you'll play the second half. Save the best of your energy and run them down when I unleash you. Got it?! You are the match decider that must make a later entrance."

I believe it's high time I joined the discussion proper, to improve my knowledge and also contribute my quota to the growth of Nigerian football.
I salute the minds that created and nurtured this thread and all the honourable forumites that have kept it ticking. I trust my time here with you will be a memorable one.
