Otherwise, you'd understand that Muslims have long caught up with Christians in practising religion publicly. They now hold public "crusades", vigils etc as much as Christians do. I'm even inclined to think it would be more so in the predominantly Islamic northern states.

I see no problem in the regulation of religious practices especially in a multi religious society like ours asides the ban on the sale of books.
