No light, no fuel, now no water...could the situation get any worse? The government needs to answer this...
Or should they
Hnnmmmm... Nah
Absolutely No Point, No Need.
Too too late!

Folks seem to forget the more fundamental of these - NO WATER provided. Truth is the Nigerian government provides nothing, nothing positive for her citizens. If possible, the Nigerian government and leaders will make her citizens source for the air they breathe.

Why the heck then do you have a country, a president, senate, reps, judiciary? They pay themselves huge salaries for doing absolutely nothing. None of these government arms are useful to Nigerians. All thus should be scrapped, like yesterday.

SUGGESTIONS
1. Return to Oba/ chieftaincy rule may be better, e.g. Before the coming of the british and invasion of the Benin kingdom, Benin City was among the 5 greatest, prosperous, safest cities in the world (greater than US, Europe, China etc). Evidenced by foreign writers and reports. - ACHIEVED WITH NO OIL!

OR
2. The 36 states in Nigeria should become independent states (nations), each with their own president etc. Present serving governors could become presidents of each state including Abuja.

Nigeria is a failed state through 56 years of trial and error. On any practical report card, the score is a BIG FFFFFFFFFF.

Nigeria as a nation cannot and should not continue to exist.
The true change needed is either of the above suggestions or something better, not worse.

The citizens are too fearful, selfish, cowardly and passive.

NO MORE NIGERIA. IT IS A VERY DEAD COUNTRY CRAWLING AND GASPING FOR AIR. BURY IT! DARN IT!! DAMN IT!!!

A Rubbish God-forsaken sorry excuse for a country. Only a cursed fool, a nonentity will want to preside over such a retching failure.

I Puke!

Not really. Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, West African Coast and most African Nations are the only nations on earth [except SA] who have resisted most of the US agenda for the world. The entire western population are practically living in a totalitarian oligarchy monopolistic system as slaves. African leaders are actually being admired by people in the west for refusing to bend to the United Nations and their manipulative ways of subduing entire populations. The only food we will eat is food grown here and the only power we will get is power produced by us else we fall victims to the UN's [really US and UK] agenda 21.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGUU3QDn7W4

Which is what is happening right now. They plan to reduce the world's population to 500 million people. Well there are 6 billion people on earth; sooooo that's a lot of people to kill and who get's to play God? There doing this by Poisoning people through GMOs, changing school curriculum, increasing prison sentences. The UN calls it "A HUMANE APPROACH" to achieving our goals. African leader are the only ones in the world [except SA] who refused to poison and kill their people. Now they need to come with a depopulation plan for Africa specifically because we are proving to be rebellious against their plans.

I know this is off point but we need to be careful how we come to conclusions. It not just about Nigeria as an isolated nation bit Nigeria in the world.

No problem, if the African nations particularly Nigeria's resistance to the said agenda manifests in improving the quality of life of her people to be supercede, equal or at least near that experienced by these other nations not stubborn or non-resisting to 'their plans'

Regardless of 'plans' in the works, it should be noted that Nigeria has always been a failed nation since 1960 (independence), and maybe pre-dated to 1914 (amalgamation) by Lugard.
And probably pre-dated to the coming of the whities and Africans (Nigerians) selling off their own to slavery. I see thus nothing to be admired by African leaders as claimed.

Africans, Nigerians, are probably just reaping what they've sown...as the world turns (karma).
And the whities understanding this, continues to take advantage as usual at their expense.

Regardless however without psychological transference of cause and blame at play, Nigeria's day to day quality of life and existence accentuates failure of self-management as a nation, a people, a product of a dead state called Nigeria, dead on arrival.

So what to do?
1. True resistance will reflect total disassociation with all to do with the white man, especially the negatives. Their system of government, their democracy, their ideologies, their constitutions, etc, which as it is continued to be copied handicaps and deaden the people.

2. Nigeria must govern themselves culturally predominantly. It worked best for them in times past.

3. Nigeria must do away with all foreign, alien religions, especially christianity and islam - they do not help, they enslave mentally, cognitively, emotionally, socially, politically, religiously, culturally, physically, interactively, productively, perceptively, criminally, governmentally, etc.
Foreign religions, borrowed governmental systems are undoubtedly Nigeria's greatest poisons - the grand Anathema to her progress and existence.
Consciously or otherwise, a choice made and one they continue to blindly make as a people.

The church ministers, islamic clerics, elites and past and present or yet to be leaders of Nigeria may be ignorant of these poisons unfortunately, or may be conscious, thereby using it as a tool to selfishly supress the masses for personal disillusioned 'gains'.

Nigerians as a people must enshackle themselves, free themselves from these mental, religious and political slavery.
Go back to the drawing board, adopt and govern themselves traditionally and culturally and still relate to the world.
Nigeria must learn to be free from the 'known' to be truly 'resistant', independent and stop been a puppet on a string. Its people, the masses, must also stop been COWARDS!

Its a world of survival of the fittest. To this end, the white, yellow, red, pink, orange, rainbow man and the gods are truly not to blame.
Blame no one. As you make your bed, so you...

I have no sense of failed nationhood - that is the point.

i would have credited your 'genius', but the apparent immaturity in your response and the assumed knowledge of knowing where one ends, when you can't even tell yours forbids me to.

As you said, you would have commented... Its good you haven't!

Evidently not there for the progress of Nigeria... Certainly they do not believe in the course of One Nigeria, but only use this phrase to fool the people and to their convenience. Silly rats. Total disrespect for the people and practise of democracy.

He that pays the piper dictates the tune. Nigeria pays these pipers (politicians), and thus must dictate the tune, not the other way round as it has been. Since the piper has blatantly refused to play the tune of the payer, they all should expectedly be relieved of their services, fired, outsted.

But Nigerians are too meek, weak, fearful, selfish, cowardly, no liver. The government provides nothing, no water, no electricity, no fuel, no jobs, no housing, soon no air if it were possible... So why are they there? what is their purpose? What is their use? But to milk and loot the resources, enriching themselves punitively.

Do not be fooled, the corruption fighting front is a big scam. Even with that they are inneficient, no conviction, nothing to show for it but wasted monies and resources - the corruption hunters (buhari, efcc et al) should also be hunted for inappropriate corruption probe , practices and corruption.

On the issue of electricity, should a country with numerous trained technical experts in the field of energy, power generation, acquisition, distribution have an untrained, unschooled person (a lawyer) as a federal minister for energy? It is nothing but absolute political corruption in appointments. Not putting national interest as a priority. A total farce.

Mr buhari wasting the nations little available monies with his nomadic travels, attending a nuclear forum, when he can't provide electricity (in his absence from national duty, the nation as a whole suffers 3 hours of zero electricity provision) - now if this is not misplaced priority to the highest power and ineptitude, i wonder what is.

Nigeria requires a spontaneous revolution and a dissolution as a country.

ENOUGH OF THE BULL!

Revolution can never take place in this country in the sense that we don't share anything in come in this country.

Of course we do and plenty.
No electricity.
No water.
No housing.
No fuel.
No jobs.
No readilly affordable food.
Poor, deceptive, lying and confused government.
An absentee visiting president to his own country.
Insecurity.
Corruption in all nooks and crannies.
Oppression by the elites.
Religious fraud and decption.
Very bad roads and poor network.
Insensitive selfish leaders.
Unfit and untrained ministers in technical posts.
Horrible police force.
Crumbled economy.
Crime.
Looted monies and resources.
Poor education, curriculum and schools.
Ignored tradition and culture.
Fear, weakness, meekness.
Over tolerance of nonsense.
Uncourageous.
Spineless.
Lukewarm.
Sycophancy.
Illiteracy.
Poverty.
Hatred for one another.
Ignorance.
Wickedness.
Disrespect for each other.
Political enslavement by the usual suspects.
Talk with no action.
... Infinitum

brother/sister, oh yes we share plenty in common that bespeaks and warrants a planned but preferably an unplanned, spontaneous revolution long overdue!
