Google is without doubt the world's number one search engine and millions of people use the google search engine everyday to find out information or seek solution to an existing problem.

If by chance, you don't find an appropriate solution or answer to what you are searching for on google, you will be automatically directed/referred to another place for help.


Now it's customary for every top Website/Blog to have a search box on it, as this helps site users/visitors to navigate and search for important articles when surfing. However a custom "Google Search Box" can also be added to your website/blog, adding it in your blog/website will certainly increase your page rankings and give it a more professional look.

In this tutorial, i'm going to take us through a simple procedure on how to add a Custom Google Search Box to your blog/website;

To add the Custom Google Search Box on your site, copy and paste the following code below to your main webpage's HTML document;

Now, let us see the step by step instruction to add Google search box to your /Blogger webpage;

1. Go to 'Page Elements' under the 'Design' section

2. Select 'Add a gadget' and click the plus sign besides 'HTML/JavaScript' in the new window.

3. A fresh window will load. Title is optional - this is for our reference and will be shown in capital letters in our website. In the content section, paste

2) as much as you want to monetize your website, when you overmonetize, the value of your content reduces. In your post: http://adielem.com/2016/04/01/how-to-add-google-search-box-to-your-website-blog/, you have 5-adverts within a single article.

- I checked through several of your articles. why are adverts showing after every 3-lines. Thats a serious no brainer. Serious error there.

How many people do you think will read the article after the first advert.
