It all started about February 2012 and the first symptoms I started experiencing were non-productive cough and chest pain. I was given emergency medications to relieve the breathlessness and from my arrival here, I began to make use of artificial oxygen which I was on for one full month, while I was being investigated by different medical teams. Within that period, I was placed on anti-TB drugs following a mentuex test that was carried out on me, which came out positive within durations of 16 minutes.
It was when I was taken to theatre for bronchoscopy and mediasthnoscopy that the cardio-thoracid team discovered the massive metastatic tumor that had obstructed my trachea at the lower third of the trachea. I was then referred to EKO hospital Ikeja for radiotherapy, I had seven courses of radiotherapy at the hospital and I had six courses of chemotherapy at LASUTH. There was a time my platelet count dropped to one (1) and I was losing blood through my nostrils, mouth and I was urinating frank red blood. She's better of dead, just b4 you NLoosers start chatting nonsense, sometimes you wish death upon your loved ones, because the pain they are suffering s unimaginable, speaking from experience, lost my mother to Cancer too, she battled it for almost 2 decades watching her from size 24 drop to size 6 is not fun. Chemo turned her to a very weak woman, injections almost every other day was painful to watch, eventually she told dr she's no longer willing to fight, she wants to go home and rest in Gods bossom. She eventually passed 2yrs ago and am grateful to God that she watched all her children grow and saw all her grand children. Sometimes it's hard to let go and wishing for a miracle, but when your loved one is slipping away and telling you this pain is too much...then you pray for quick death. May you all never experience agony of loosing loved ones to untimely death and incurable disease.
