Ebonyians, Let's Meet here. by BobUg28(m): 1:12am On Apr 04, 2016 |
Greetings to all indigens of Ebonyi State on Nairaland. I have seen others doing this and and I have also seen/heard (of) the magnificent results it has yielded too. Let's get to know ourselves. Discuss issues concerning our mother soil. Perhaps, one might see a help mate or a long time friend you had long parted way with. All you have to do is to hop-in, introduce yourself, tell us about your work, school, business etcetera. Ask questions relating to Ebonyi state government, our culture, tourism, mineral resources, means of Internally Generated Revenue and so on. . . get to know your state better than you had before( for those who are in abroad and those who 'd lived all their lives the city) PROUDLY EBONYIAN, SALT OF THE NATION. |

comrChris: God bless you, ComrChris. Your disposition obviously reflects the kind of person you are. You must be an open minded kind of person who shows concern to the issues bothering your people. For those who see need to ridicule our state based on the fact that we are lagging behind in terms of development, I don't have anything to contend with them.. it's their own headache. It's non of our business and should also be the least of our problem. I 'd appreciate so much if you'd help provide necessary informations we need to keep this thread up and doing |

EBONYI STATE UNIVERSITY ( EBSU) Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki was founded in 1999 in Abakaliki, Nigeria. In the beginning was the will. The will and aspiration were for the well-meaning people of Ebonyi State to have a University that would be theirs so as to encourage the advancement of learning and research, and in the long run, rewrite the hitherto inglorious history of educational backwardness of Ebonyi people. The university's medical faculty was established in 1991 as ESUT's Faculty of Health Sciences. Many of its facilities were developed in response to a Guinea worm pandemic; the Abakaliki Specialist Hospital, created for this purpose, was remodelled to become Ebonyi State University's primary teaching hospital. It was subsequently granted accreditation by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) for the training of medical students and resident doctors. Since it became part of Ebonyi State University, the medical school has received considerable funding from the Ebonyi government... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebonyi_State_University

BobUg28:thank you sir,,am a kind of person that like appreciating what l have and whom l am, haters call it pride but l call it self esteem,,,am from ebonyi and l think that is one of the greatest things God did for me others opinion may not count here sha For this thread to grow l think we have started well, this thread should be devoid of insult and derogatory comments( very important),,don't be surprised children of hate must come here just to infuriate us but let's always ignore them,,,noApology is already doing a great job but l think we can do better with more pictures to make the thread animated,,, Ebonyi is getting better and l think it will be momentous we join hand in pushing our state out of covert state and intrepidly face any form of browbeat from our neighbours finally let's leave our discrepancies aside and avoid any form of cross purpose and do the needful.......God bless us all |

NoApology: Good one, Mr Johnson. I like as your username sounds, very funny...Lol but that's out of it anyway. Yeah, I'm glad to know you're from Ishimgbo( a community I never knew exists in my state). Honestly, I'm one of those few people who usually mistook your local government to be Ezzamgbo. Thanks for the information and the enlightenment. We look forward to seeing more of your contributions as the thread grows and also hope that you upload decent pictures that truly speaks of whom we are and what we are made of. This is just the outset, we are yet to unravel things which several Ebonyians( both those within and in the diaspora) never knew exists in our state. |

hello brothers. this place been awfully too quite. what's happening? I myself been away for some time now. yours truly have been in police college Ikeja, training as a cadet officer. I don't know if this makes sense but I'm thinking if we could open up a more realtime platform for us, e.g WhatsApp group or a Facebook group. I believe such platforms will enhance communication and more rooms to add/meet others not here. your opinions and suggestions are welcomed. |
