downloading battery saving application on your phone , if you have any battery saving apps on your phone , you have just destroy your battery .

leaving any of these on your phone, WiFi,GPS and Bluetooth switched ON for several hours .


not allowing your battery to reach the lower limit(15%,20%) before recharging .


Note : generally when you operate your phone to the extent that it gets hot , it will definetly tell on your battery .

Nice one, people still don't accept the improvements that comes with Li-ion batteries. In addition to Op's point, operating temperature is very vital to battery discharge rate. Some phones now have a "high temperature warning" ⚠

You may find it difficult to believe, but truth remains that using your phone to browse in an area where the network is not stable strains your phone battery thereby weakening it faster than you can ever imagine. If you're in an area where your phone's Internet switches between edge, 3G, H+ and H++, you may likely experience battery issues regularly. It may be worse if you're always using edge on your phone.
