Borno state Governor, Hon. Kashim Shettima has on Monday inspected the ongoing construction project of the Borno state University located at Jimtilo along Kano road in Maiduguri. The Governor who was received by contractors at the site was impressed by the level of work at the site and urged thecontractors to sustain the tempo and charged them not to compromise on quality.Shettima said the state government is spendingnothing less than N4.3b on the project which consist of five faculties and a Senate building. While responding to questions by journalists shortly after an inspection tour of more seven project sites in state, Shettima said he was impressed by the what he saw at the sites and further informed them that work at the state University site has reached 75% completion. While the State Low-cost -Gongulon-Hadamari road project has reached 95% completion.
