My son's scrotum occasionally swells, it happen for hours or more at time when he was two years and it stopped, we thought it has gone but surprisingly it happened yesterday again....pls I need medical advise.

Your son may have an inguinal hernia; that is a connection between his abdominal cavity and his scro.tum through which his bowels enter the scr.otal sac. You need to see a physician who will most likely refer you to a surgeon. It is a very easy fix surgically, although in Nigeria everything is complicated.

It's more likely a hydrocoele at this age. Look for a hospital with a paediatric surgeon to assess him properly.
