No probe needed. The man is now in heaven banging virgins, and Nigeria is rid of a Jihadist who had hoped to turn the whole land into a killing field. |

@ poster Probing became imperative, he was arrested b4 gunning him down by the anger policemen. If not, why Ojukwu and Mend should be given amnesty?? He committed thesame crime with them. |

Abu-Maryam: Yeha. . . . we are waiting for Yar'Adua to tot this same line 100 days from now when the amnesty expires, giving JTF excuse to mow down any Naija-Deltan in sight, but unfortunately the Nigerian press wont buy this line, neither will Southern Nigerians. |

Abu-Maryam: Ha ha get over it dude. Your hero is now worm bait, and in a couple more days from now, most people would have forgotten about his miserable and pointless existence. |

In as much as I hate the NPF for this extra-judicial killing and all others they've been carrying out, I don't think we should start a long and expensive investigation of this matter. No setting up of panel of enquiry or all that other crap that will take months and millions of Naira just to tell us he was wrongfully killed. This is where Onovo should start the good work we expect of him. All police personnell in the particular station he was killed should be fired and those actually involved in his assassination should be tried and jailed. But not right now O! Anything to punish mistakes made by the police at this period could make police personnel quite reluctant or confused as to what to do when these terrorists strike again. This is a very wrong time to dissuade members of the police force from taking action or make them herritant in dealing with another uprise. So I think the matter should be overlooked for now, till maybe next year when the coast is clear and Boko Haram has completely dispersed. I hardly see anything much to investigate since the culprits are not denying anything. Just set a date to deal with the crime. However, now is not the time. |

Yes. The man was killed to hide his backers. His backers are more dangerous, expect a new, revitalised Boko Haram. They have been popping up under different names since 2002. |

Certainly! They should probe his death, as successfully as they probed the deaths of Dele Giwa, Bola Ige, etc. |
