a couple of months back when ibb felt he must talk because of the height of heat coming from the masses over the anulment of june 12, he made it clear that the election was cancelled and not annuled. today andy uba out of his great wisdom have reported to nigerians through thisday newspaper of 12 th novemeber 2006 that his case in the us was civil and not criminal.
in the case of ibb what we know till today that election results were not honoured hence the winner was denied his mandate.
looking at the case of uba, wether civil or criminal, the bottom line here was that funds above governments stipulated amount was illegally took away from nigeria into the us.
obj and efcc that have been congratulated by people from all works of life over their campaign against corruption in nigeria know too well that their man uba has gone contrary to the financial laws of our land, so what next?
are we going to experience the same secred cow instance as was experienced in the case of the uba junior in anambra polity or will he be treated like the other escape goats like alamaysia?
