...........Vanguard learned that although the N60 billion meant for the Calabar-Lagos rail budget was not in the original budget, the Budget and National Planning Minister, Senator Udoma Udo Udoma, successfully defended and got it included in the amended budget.http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/04/2016-budget-palaver-presidency-gives-fresh-conditions-assent/ ...........“The two arms of government are trying to resolve all issues raised by the Executive amicably before the President returns from China. http://thenationonlineng.net/nigeria-not-threatened-n12-tr-debt-says-dmo/ |

Just show us transcripts of Amaechi's & Udo Udoma's budget defence nah.... The people making a case for NASS since they believe they are "fighting" the government on their behalf should ask them what the following that the inserted into the budget under "CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS " mean exactly. 1. Student Special Intervention Bursary? What about Tetfund? 2.Vocational centres? Have they scrapped Technical Colleges? 3. Cottage industries,? Damn too Vague!! 3. Solar Power street lights for villages? Who "lobbied" them or put it to them that that is the yearning of the people? How many of them have constituency offices or even leave state capitals on their non party related visits to their respective states? 4. Why N4 billion was removed from Ministry of Health budget and added to Code of Conduct Tribunal? Is that supposed to be the political solution to Saraki trial? http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/04/2016-budget-palaver-presidency-gives-fresh-conditions-assent/? 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Rep Oghene Egoh, PDP, Lagos, said the removal of the the Lagos-Calabar rail line was wicked and uncharitable if it is true because “we provided for both Kano and Lagos rail lines in the budget but I’m shocked that Lagos that is the business hub in Nigeria was removed. To me, we must probe deep into why it was removed must probe deep into why it was removed It was removed because you Mofos left your primary assignments & "transformed" into court room filler audience! How is it wicked? It is in the nature of man to be selfish, Goje & Jibrin saw that you lots were useless & "helped" their own region.. It is baffling how (& this is not to stoke tribal embers) both the House & Senate ended up with northerners as appropriation committee chairmen & they expect them not to come together to favour their people more!!!! No be everybody be regional saboteurs nah! When these south NASS d***heads were wheeling & dealing with Saraki & Dogara, did that fact escape them? That yeye twitter senator had better just kip kwayet, nonsense ba commonsense people!! 7 Likes 1 Share |

I know those in the 'shallow' chamber are the ones lying.
Since the day they told us the budget got missing, I knew there'd be foul-play.
I trust Ameachi to come out with evidence very soon. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Anything short of the status quo the pdp nuture them to accept as the norm is unacceptable to them. Buhari shall win this war, insha-Allahu! 4 Likes |

Apc adminstraction always amaze me with their antics.Their lack of directions, incompetence, cluelessness to governance is what really beat my imagination.Their supporters who were in hibernation as a result of economic hardship the country is passing through due to Apc mal-admintraction.Had suddenly found their voice in supporting this calculated confusion created by Apc NASS members and the executives. It is obvious APc got no economic plan to alleviate the sufferings of Nigerians. How can one explain the deliberate confusion facing the passage of this budget starting from the missing of the budget,to padding of the budget,to non submission of budget details down to removal of certain projects and the refusal of the president to give his consent.Apc has the majority of their members both in upper and lower chamber of the national assembly both still find it difficult to resolve this budget issues. Please lets not be deceived the legislature and the executives have a grant plan together. The delay in the budget will be an excuse why Apc couldn't perform after one year in office. PDP NASS members from the south had giving their own stand regarding the removal of the Lagos calaber coastal rail. They are shock at the removal of the project. The chairman of the committee on appropriation is an Apc member thus should be working for his party and not anti party equally gave his own side of the story. There was no such project in the budget. The confusion continues. This time GEJ wouldn't be blame for Apc ineptitude but the NASS.Naija fear change, the bible says. |

you want to know the source of Nigeria's predicaments, surely the NASS has a very big hand in. They gave you budget to deliberate on, you are now manipulating figures to suite your thieving lifestyle at the detriment of Nigerians chai! God embarrassed this country with bad people. |

The chairman committee on appropriation is LIVE on Channels TV debunking this claim. He said the Calabar - Lagos rail was not included in the budget submitted to NASS. He claimed it's the rail line from Lagos to Kano that is in the budget which was underfunded and Nass had to add extra fund to it. He said controversies arising from the budget has clearly shown the presidency and Ameachi doesn't understand the budget submitted and the one approved by NASS. |
