If the northerners could drop their party differences to ensure that the Lagos-Kano route is in the budget, why should their southern counterparts allow party difference split them? 8 Likes |

5starmilitant: Am happy that majority of well meaning reasonable Nigerians know the truth that 98% of these senators are there for reasons of personal greed and selfish interests only. Those of you who pretend to be unaware of this fact are only deceiving yourselves. Unfortunately for you, you are a very paltry minority. PMB is not contesting for any post until 2019. All he wants is to deliver on his promises. You guys are the ones struggling for relevance. And I will advice you to go and look for a better job to do because elections are over and the services of political thugs are not required for now. 5 Likes |

The Nigerdelta area is supposed to be competing with Dubai development level today if some set of Nigerians outside the Nigerdelta areas take Nigeria as one country. Exploitation of the Nigerdelta areas to death is the creed in Nigeria by some sections of Nigeria. Calabar-Lagos standard gauge train line is a proposal conceived with bile. It was conceived like the EAST-WEST road to connect oil producing Nigerdelta states to Lagos and onward to the north. Today, after many decades and billions of Naira gulped, the EAST-WEST Road is not realized. The unforgiving coastal terrain from Calabar to Lagos: even Oyibo may find it difficult to build and maintain such road and rail line. They were both exploitation routes; routes meant to exploit and transport oil wealth from the Nigerdelta to the SW and northern areas where the oil wealth has been used for development for decades at the expense of development in the Nigerdelta areas. 3 Likes |

The rail project was not inthe original budget. But it was included in the amended version sent to NASS (after it had been sucessfully defended by Udoma Udo Udoma when the Executive were doing amendment to the first padded budget). Senator common sense should also have told us why the money meant for electricity transmission was diverted to buying tricycle, digging boreholes and building townhalls in constituencies. COMMON SENSE IS NO LONGER COMMON. 5 Likes |

This is why it is wrong to jump into conclusion were properly crosschecking the facts. APC should realise that campaigns are over. Enough of the media deception and propaganda. There was never Lagos-Calabar Railway in the budget, APC Goebels or Okoko Ndem department manufactured this lie. 4 Likes |

MetaHuman: Are you minding Sen. Ben Bruce? How can he release such myopic and ignorant Tweet. Let us take it that it was not in the budget. There was a leftover of N54 billion. The Southern Senators could not request (I did not say it must be granted by their colleagues) request for it because Amaechi asked for N60 billion. Why not remind their colleagues of the project? It was not in the budget and they kept mute. Let Sen. Ben Bruce keep Tweeting while his colleagues pack everything for their constituents. If they forgot or did not budget his housing allowance, he will remember. 3 Likes |

How can a leader be so biased and bitter!! Is boooooohari for real? Atleast with the much GEJ did for North while in power, shouldn't that goat be thinking of compensating the South South in some way? What kind of wicked human beings are these people? Is the South South not part of Nigeria? Okay, Let IPOB go since they claim "naijeriya" is theirs..Wosai!! Yet it is the same South South that fuels the economy of the country.
