It is important for a believer to constantly be in touch with spiritual realities. The bible said let they that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. This is only possible when we change our way of thinking, way of doing things, fashioning all in line with the wisdom of God.

We now have a new nature, our culture should follow suit or else we will remain in the bondage of the old culture. Life is attitude and the only way you can live in a way that is acceptable to God and man is by imbibing new attitude.

This is also a way of making the shackles of sin fall off you, because when you imbibe new attitudes, you will find no need for sin again (the Israelite couldnt find need for pearls in wilderness, they held on to it for so long and it wasnt difficult for them to release it to God) and it will just be impossible for you to sin anymore because that seed in you will come out ever shinning.

A fruit can only be produced under the right atmosphere.

Who is a righteous man?
Righteousness is a state of being right. You do not merit it but you are counted as one. Counted as one as in someone calls you one after you might have fulfilled some criteria
In the bible, the standard for righteousness is God and who is that person that can stand God in standard? That is, it is practically impossible for man to be righteous because righteousness is about the purity of the way of God describing God as being right in all ways by God's standard.

The bible recorded that Abraham was 'decorated' righteous not by work but by faith, same thing with us, because of our faith we've been decorated righteous by God. That is, we possess the same nature as God and we are free to display the nature of God and this is evidenced by the fruit we bear

In the end of days, Jesus will come to separate the sheep from the goat using the fruit as criterion, that is, using the kind of life you live as yard stick. So it is very important you start bearing the fruit which is by living the life, the Gods kind of life.

Righteous men think

Righteous men do not just take action. They are not driven by emotion, anger, first sight impression, not by how heavy it weighs in their hearts, not even by disappointment.

David asked God if he should go. Joseph did not just take the step but he waited. They see the end and extrapolate to the present; they weigh the implication of their action. They are not ordinary; they do not mistakenly do anything. They view all in the wisdom of God. They think and take the best action. Prov. 14:15.

In the process of waiting, David heard from God. There is power in the waiting of a righteous man (it is a step of faith) it spurs God (who only responds to faith) and he responds

Long suffering is a character that you train yourself in. Start practicing your waiting to think today, every challenge in life is an opportunity to hear from God.

We are only desperate for the word of God

We are almost unresponsive to every push of life- be it terrorism, be it hunger etc and that is the reason why it is almost impossible for us to be tossed about.

Only one thing moves us and when we sense it, we can go to the end of the earth to get it and that is the word of God. (Man shall not eat by bread alone). The psalmist says I was glad when they say let us go to the house of the Lord. The word of God is our standing point (our compass) as it helps organize our lives.

The sinners can move in 5 different directions in a single day, they end the day/week/month/year confused and destabilized. Running here and there solves nothing but the word of God solves allonly the righteous can understand that.

One thing about the word is this- Jesus said I know my sheep and my sheep know my voice. We smell it even from afar and we do not relent until we get it (a merchant man that found godly pearls)

A righteous man can never be forgotten

Prov 10:7 the name of the righteous is used in blessing but the name of the wicked will not
The steps of a righteous man are potent, they are not ordinary, and they lead to an expected end that will always be celebrated. No other slot exists for it in the whole world and the world awaits its manifestation
It can never be forgotten because it will be a landmark achievement that will be celebrated. It is always in the secret but it will eventually come to light. Remember Esthers brother, he was remembered after so many months.
Jesus is still being celebrated up to today and forever more. Be committed to the path of righteousness, your path to destiny. You are on your way to being a celebrity and you will never be forgotten even in the world to come.

You are created to make impact

You are one of the selected few created of the Lord in Jesus to make impact. You were not just reborn, even though you have no earthly past, you have a celebrated future.
You were born into a role described by God even years before you were born. Just the way John was described as Elijah, just as the steps of Jesus were pre recorded by the spirit of the Lord in the scripture. Before you were formed in the womb, God knew your name; many years ago He spoke about you as being successful with your willful role in the plan of God

How to get started: the word of God is the mentoring program of the HS. Through the platform of the word, HS builds you up and set you on the path of destiny. We read about the man Paul that said I have finished my course and about Jesus who said it is finished
You can be the GO, you can be the world evangelist, and you can be the father of that great child. He meant more for you, not just a bench warmer in church. You can touch lives.

You are the elect that can elect

Prov.11:30 he that winneth soul is wise.
Bible called us the elect of God and God gave us the power to go out and save souls for him (making them Gods elect)
If only you can set your mind to it you can save that your neighbor, sibling, parent
There was a man who sets his mind that someone will be saved. He went and introduced Jesus to the person; he gave Christian materials, and prayed earnestly for the person. He chose to live a godly life and eventually God delivered that soul into his hand
In your hand is the power to erase the past of a sinner, to give hope to the hopeless, healing to the sick. You just need to realize this and then start working towards it

Being godly

It means to be like God. It means to be righteous. The promises of God are for the righteous. Bible says say to the righteous, it shall be well with them- so it is important to walk in the way of the Lord.
Have you not noticed that Jesus had explanation for every step he took, and every word he said. That is the path of righteousness, you are not the first to take it, God took it first, and heroes of faith took it also. The godly are those God can associate with, they are the friends of God.
You need to start acting godly- it is the act of God to make impact; you need to start making impact through the help of the HS. We have the spirit of God in us and so we have the ability to start acting rightly Rom 12:2. You need to start thinking mercy instead of sacrifice, giving rather than withholding, wisdom rather than folly, living for others (not yourself).
I leave you with this- until you start living godly, life in the kingdom has not commenced.

We instill fear in the people around us

Prov 10:17. We talked about you being predestined for a great thing. God is working on you all the time both when you are down and up; pruning you to produce that figure (person) He sees in you.
You are light- you are the exhibit of the work of God, you may not be shinning yet but the fact that God is present in you, working in you and on you, makes you what the world is waiting for, the presence of God always radiate though you may not see but the people around you are feeling itthat neighbor of yours who happens to be richer than you is feeling the work and he envies something in you. He looks at your life and he is challenged and encouraged
Esther 8:17And many of the people of the land became Jews, for the fear of the Jews fell upon them
Deut 28:10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of thee
You have to be careful with what you do, you are a light, you are already representing something and that thing points to Jesus, do not misrepresent it.
Stop looking down on yourself; you are like a time bomb with clock ticking, just about to explode. The world awaits you.
