I was in Ikeja today to purchase the newly launched phone in the popular computer village in Ikeja.

I did my usual obsession about the device, researched both good and bad and then i decided to get the Boom J8 but to my surprise the Phone has already been sold out in the major outlets in ikeja. After wasting fuel in these hard times i was determined to buy.

I was told the scarcity was caused by huge demand for the device. A friend told me that Spectrum still has stock available but my frustration came when I got there, saw lots of people there to buy the phone. But just because they were the only one selling the device they raised the price to 42k, I checked Konga to see if the price was fair, and it was even on the high side. I had to later buy it at Spectrum.

Tecno Mobile should ensure they make the phone available since they have given it enormous publicity, so that customers will not be made to go through stress before buying a phone that they want to enjoy.

This is not funny oo, phone wey just come out . I hope they do something about it before some people start ripping Nigerians off. i think the phone make a lot of sense and it is really powerful midrange device. I got mine earlier though

It's only natural for a device like the BoomJ8 be sold out. From everything I've read about the phone, it can only be sold out.

infinix had similar scenario too you know. There will be always scarcity when there's excess.demand over supply why because it's a simple economic theory. You just have to wait a little longer to get the device because there's great demand for it.

It's a New amazing Phone for very Affordable Price, Hence the enormous Demand shouldn't come as a Suprise. I think Tecno should look into the Supply of the Phone to various Phones Selling Outlets.
