Nobody condemned Rochas about shoprite stuff. People were trying to use building & commissioning of shoprite as a yardstick to measure Rochas's achievement against Obiano's which we told them if that's the case, then Rochas is a learner where Obiano is because he(Obiano) is building 3 of them at a go. I am a big admirer of Obiano, he is a breadth of fresh air. I hope he focuses on developing and building his state and not get entangled in the political melodrama like his mumu colleagues. In Obiano and Ambode, I see a future.

I celebrate this project, it is laudable, especially because I am a big admirer of Governor Obiano. However, I find it belittling to say Igbo land is developing because an overdue mall was built in a commercial centre like Onitsha. Onitsha deserves more than just a mall, it is only when you laid the foundation for Independent Power Projects, encourage young people to go back to school and improve security that you can start talking about 'developing'. What's a mall biko? Nothing but a glorified supermaket. Kudos Obiano!

It is not shoprite that is been opened, it is onitsha mall. Shoprite is just a mega supermarket inside onitsha mall...

The mall is indigenously owned, while shoprite is a tenant in the mall the same way you have other brands like slot,cold stone, mr bigg, mr price or even some pharmaceutical companies selling the products and offering consultation services to their customers inside their shops in the mall....

Onitsha mall appears to be the biggest and most beautiful in the SE. It is quite huge with massive parking bay! Obiano is set to commission the completed project jointly developed by the Anambra State government and Africa Capital Alliance. The mall will host Shoprite, Mr. Price, Woolworth, 5 Continental Restaurants/Fastfoods, Banking Halls, Cineplex/Games, Flight ticketing firms etc. It is a one-stop-shopping mall East of the Niger.
