Every year, Farafina Trust organizes a literary workshop in Lagos. Aspiring writers are invited to a ten-day intensive writing retreat facilitated by Chimamanda Adichie. You get a chance to receive training and mentorship from Adichie. As you can imagine, it is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for those who are lucky enough to get in. Most people who have attended in the past return with glowing testimonials about their experience. Read Eloghosa Osunde’s piece on her experience here. See photos from the 2015 session here. Read Akwaeke Emezi’s piece on meeting Adichie here. See below for all the details on how to apply. Good luck! Deadline is May 20. Farafina Trust will be holding a creative writing workshop in Lagos, organized by award-winning writer and creative director of Farafina Trust, Chimamanda Adichie, from June 21 to July 1, 2016.
