Bruv that's what we call spoon feeding and let's not forget that's it also takes us back to something that has been asked and answered, how you ask. You ask a question that has been properly dealt with and I mean properly every point as regards that question as being properly trashed out. Would it hurt to read a few pages back......so when they respond negatively it's not that they are feeling like they too know its just that after repeating something many times when the solution has already been provided for. It gets tiring after a while....

Please i need to know if an unused Schengen travel insurance can be used another time? I bought one to travel to Germany then something happened and I cancelled the interview. But I already purchased the travel insurance and the date I would have used it is fast approaching. What do I do?

How una dey, been too busy to come up with the stuff I promised the last time though.
On the other hand, I may have goodnews for those who wanna pay for uni assist instantly within the next 3 days, I might be able to assist.
However, it will NOT be at CBN rates, please note because this is not a FORM A transaction neither will the money be retrieved back through that means, but rather at Bureau De change rate.
500 euros to spare within the next 3 days, PM if interested, first come first serve!

Good day house, I want to apply for DAAD scholarship.

1. The instruction says that Nigeria applicant must apply through the german embassy. Do I just walk into the embassy with my application or send the application through courier service?. Please I need someone to put me through

The scholarship is for developing countries Nigeria inclusive.

2.Eligibility: Scholarship criteria is

Graduates with at least two years’ professional experience
-Candidates fulfil the necessary academic requirements and can be expected to successfully complete a study programme in Germany(above-average result for first academic exam – top performance third, language skills)
Please can someone explain the latter criteria? I did not do my B.sc in germany.

Thank you.

Would be glad to know if and when your interview is done tomorrow.

We await your success story.

And to many others who have received their visa recently, we want to hear from you. How you went about it, the challenges, contours and favours you encountered on your way.

Lots of new guys are here. They want to learn from your testimony.

Hi, you should check this out.. This is the reply i got after trying to explain that English is the official language of Nigeria and that I already possess a letter of proficiency from my uni over here .. I guess rules change...

Dear Ifeoluwa

Thank you for your email and interest in our university. Regarding
English language proficiency, you can find out more information on the
following link
(http://www-docs.b-tu.de/studierende/public/files/Bewerbung_Zulassung/MB_Sprachnachweis_Englisch_EN.pdf) on our ERM program specific websites (links below). As per the cited document, unless you come from the listed countries- a proof of English language proficiency is required. I regret to inform that exceptions to this rule are not
possible.

I would recommend registering for a test as soon as possible. Also, if
you read page 2 of the mentioned document, you can see that the
submission of English language proficiency can also be done at a later
point in time, up until the point of enrollment which would be latest
on the 7th October 2016
(http://www-docs.b-tu.de/studierende/public/files/Vorlesungsverzeichnis/Termine_WS_16-17.pdf) or (https://www.b-tu.de/en/students/student-services/research-oriented-study-programmes/dates-and-deadlines). I believe that should be a sufficient amount of time to take and pass the
test.

Best Regards

For uni assist payment the following information are required:

your birthday (dd.mm.yyyy),
– your family name,
– your first name,
– the semester in which you would like to start studying*,
– your uni-assist applicant number (if you already have one).

Another fast route making the payment is via credit card. Just download the form and fill the card details in.
Unfortunataly Nigeria and few other countries card are not accepted.

Oga futurewise pls i will need you to help me pay uni-assist fees. Kindly guide me on the modalities..

From my experience(cos I also applied there, though another course) that form is for German nationals and those that had their underG in Germany. You don't need to fill the university form as an international student. But you will fill the uni assist application form, print it and sign and then send along with your certs

Many thanks @Takeastep! Thanks for asking. I was about reaching out to you.

The interview went well. I don't really liked their method, despite arriving the embassy around 6:15am, I wasn't through until past 10am. The VO had just 5 of us for the long stay visa (including a guy from Anambra going for undergraduate study).
After we finished the security checks, the VO lady, who arrived the interview counter at exactly 7am, came with a smiling face, and the student guy beside me said it unusual to see her smile. Then I told him today should be good, and it was actually so.
The documentation process was very tedious unlike my experience at the US embassy. I had no issues with the documentation except that she asked me to go outside and get the prepaid courier envelope. We paid 13,500 as application fee. Virtually the 5 of us where asked to go for the envelope.
Afterwards, we were again called for the main interview. The student guy was the first and he spent so much time. Only God knows what sorts of questions he was being asked. But I have a feeling he would be successful.
For me I answered all questions except that she was like staying I have to open a block account that the stipend (24euros/day) my host in Germany is offering is small. I told her that they would pay for my flight and accommodation too and she said she saw it. She asked how much am earning where I work and I told. She said I have to get insurance and I said that is not a problem. Lastly she told me they would communicate me through e-mail. And that was all.

My question: what's your reaction to the block account stuff? Thanks!+

I am not saying that the VO has no idea of what she is saying but in my opinion, 24euros is enough for your daily upkeep as long as transportation is out of it. If you eat in then would have more than enough with the 24euros per day and even be able to pay your insurance if it is private.

I am sure you bought the courier bag during your interview and attached a viable delivery address to it.

That is how you get your passport and documents back.
