Who told u Osun people are majorly farmers? Just that 15% out of 100 people are state workers while others are mostly hand workers, business owners and little of them are farmers, mostly cocoa producers. Am frm Osun, Ilesha precisely and I knw what am saying.

I am from osun state. Osun people are not hungry. Most people live a happy rural life and food is not their problem. Some people still like aregbesola because almost every corner of osun state has good roads since he became governor. As far as im concerned that was a waste of money cos he was trying to compete wt rich states but thats besides the point. The govt workers are ANGRY and rightly so.

The problem with osun state is that there is very little economic activity to generate IGR to pay government workers. The government is not creative enough to solve this simple problem. I think half of those govt workers need to be sacked and employed by the private sector. Osogbo has one of the best power (light) situation in this country and yet is mostly dependent on FG allocation. All they need is a young smart governor like donald duke or fashola. Unfortunately the educated and exposed people like that, who are from the state, are living in abuja or lagos.

It's obvious that most of the people commenting here ain't citizens of the state or they are just blinded by political affiliation. A critical look at those pictures will tell you that some of the people in the pictures are arranged crowd. Before you criticize me what to ask me how. . So how?
You will notice that some men in the pictures are carrying various drums, now tell me who in his right senses will take his drum into the mosque to offer prayers? That proves my point that the crowd is arranged one. And one thing that has been evident with our governor is that he loves media attention, maybe that's why he's shown us this stunt this time around. As for those saying suffering and smiling... Most of the citizens of the State have wised up and woken up from their slumber, this is evident in the just concluded re-run in ife where APC could only come third after PDP and ACCORD. Although APC still has some strong holds, but 2018 will be a different story to 2014. Mark my words.

I hated the fact ref was always on their side during 2007 western conference final against Steve Nash led spurs. and the fact they made heat and LeBron look useless during their 2014 triumph.well when Greg poppovich retires they will suffer like the present day Manchester United .
