The Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos has been declared the 5th busiest airport and the fastest growing airport in Africa in terms of passenger volume.

With passenger volume doubling YoY to 15 million from the 7.5 million posted in 2014, the MMIA is rated as one of the fastest growing in Africa and would see huge growth in traffic experience with the new terminal expected to go operational later this year nearing completion. Also, the number of passengers over the next few years is expected double up to 30 million.
