To God alone be all the glory that you in believed in yourself and God preserved your parent's life so that they can see that He is the true God not the prophet. I'm not surprised at all. Not quite long ago, virtually all the so called prophets in Nigeria proclaimed that Jona was going to win the election. I only pitied the gullible ones that allowed their lives to be ruined by these so called 'Men of God', 'Daddy G.O's', Mummy G.O's', Alfas, Imam etc. All na wash. omo la'ju e.

But can 8 year old boy know the value of education to cry when told he look for other things in life to do instead of education. A typical 8 year will even rejoice because nobody will disturb him to prepare for school every morning.

People don't understand what Prophecy means. PhD degree may not just be the destination of that prophesy

Eeya! It is understandable. I'm sure you didn't enter primary one till you were 10. But, maybe you need to know that in some families, some children are preparing to enter JSS1 at the age of 8. This is the good news actually; You can break the yoke on your own children!
