Happy Sunday to you fellow nairalanders. The adapter I use with my rechargeable fan got burnt and I need a replacement. I was considering the buying that used on dstv decoders. My adapter's rated input is 100 - 240v, 50/60hz, 0.8A. Rated output is 15VDC 3A.

Dstv decoder's adapter is typically rated 12volts at 1.5amps.so it won't charge your fan batteries efficiently. Get something at 15v with amperage from 3 to 5amps.cheers 1 Like |

systematica: The DSTV adapter is 12V 1.5A and won't charge your battery. If you're in Lagos,enter Computer village. From the roundabout under the Oba Akran flyover bridge,look for Idowu Lane(its the street before Ola Ayeni). Ask of Barca,he sells all varieties of chargers. |
