Many students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri are presently clamouring for more banks to be built on campus.

Students of F.U.T owerri have taken to their various social media handles to protest what they referred to as "monopoly" practised by Diamond bank on the school campus.

"i don't know if diamond bank FUTO paid FUTO management an amount of money to monopolize the area. They've enjoyed the preiviledge for long yet they don't do anything substantial for the student's welfare", said a student.

It has been reported that students find it very hard to withdraw money from an A.T.M because of the large population of students that tend to use it.

Sources reveal this has been the status quo for a very long time but right now, students are ready to change it.
