I have been asking and would like to know your opinions. Why does a man after declaring his love to his wife go behind and takes another woman, can you marry more than one wife & for d ladies can you become a 2nd,3rd,4th, wife

I dont know why any man would try this one. Imagine, your life would be nagged out of you!

The motive could be driven by a combination of power and moral debauchery. (The moral part is assuaged by subscribing to the dogmas of certain religions)

Such men are NEVER nagged out! If wife #2 nags, wife #s 1, 3 & 4 will gladly receive him with open hands. The balance of power is entirely with such (hopeless) men.

The wife dare not nag because he has multiple options

let us all understand that a man who goes and marry another wife does it because he knows he can!
if the first wife is dependant of him therefore he can do pretty much anything he wants.
its sometimes calls having your cake and eating it too.
