Jonathan Responsible For Poverty Pervading Nigeria - Buhari by Nobody: 11:51pm On Apr 24, 2016
AGAIN, President Muhammadu Buhari has asked Nigerians to look at the direction of former President Goodluck Jonathan for the pervading poverty in the land and not to him.

The President's directive followed a submission by a faction of the opposition Conference of Nigerian Political Parties,CNPP, that Nigerians under the president’s watch were facing unprecedented hardship.

President’s charge was contained in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the president on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu.

“The Presidency firmly rejects the insinuations that poverty and lack are products of the Change mantra.

“This should be dismissed as an erroneous and misplaced opposition criticism. The President understands the pain and the cries of the citizens of this country and he is spending sleepless nights over how he can make life better for everyone.

“Contrary to assertions by a faction of the opposition Conference of Nigerian Political Parties, CNPP, the President’s energy and focus are on changing the life of Nigerians, with a view to making it better than he met it. “Change is a process.

Change does not happen overnight. Change can be inconvenient. Change sometimes comes with pain. Over the past year, the government has been working night and day to deliver on its promise of change to Nigerians, and the painful process is still ongoing.

“This is work in progress. As life gradually returns to normal in much of the country and the northeast in particular, agriculture will resume and traders from neighbouring African countries will once again feel safe to do business with us–yet another boost for our economy.

“But it is only when we appreciate where we are coming that we will grasp the full meaning and essence of what the ongoing journey entails.

it is Crystal clear that APC and buhari have nothing positive to offer to Nigerians apart from blaming GEJ and PDP for their inability to perform.

I keep hearing change but I only see Nigeria changing for the worse and the only thing Buhari is doing to help the situation is pointing fingers at the opposition.

It is GEJ's budget and he is responsible for all the mess and drama about the budget to the point of stopping buhari from assenting it.

You lost control of government. 11 months on you still blame the former. If you don't know what you are doing, kindly step aside.

Buhari can not comprehend the realities of the hard times his administration has brought on Nigerians

Jonathan asserts; "the economy I left for Buhari was the first and fastest growing economy in Africa "

Buhari states: "blame jonathan for the poverty parading Nigeria"

I guess very soon we'll blame jonathan for the poverty in Africa.

Good riddance to bad rubbish

Not again! When will Jonathan's name leave their lips? His name has really come handy in defending their gross ineptitude. Leaders are not elected to mourn the mistakes of the past but to work at correcting them. This APC version of "CHANGE" is really nauseating.

Wailers making noise as though GEJ did anything to improve the economic lot of Nigerians. The buffoon was mortgaging the future of the country by squandering and borrowing in a time of plenty, allowing corrupt persons enrich themselves (as dasukigate has shown), 20,000 killed and 2 million displaced by boko haram, etc

Yet its PMB who's working to rectify these issues (e.g BH is dying) is the one to be blamed. Agbayas

So after hearing this, is there still anyone who believes this government will deliver??

After meeting up to $32b in reserve plus returned money from deziani and past leader ranging into trillions. He still blames people for his failure.

Infact I have nothing to say, just keep getting crazy till your 4 years is over and leave that place.

Our youths are just blind and money driven. Some people will still come here and defend him.

The president should not mind their noise since they refuse to admit the reality. They are all corruption fighting back, they all partake of the looting of the treasury, many of the noise makers are among the politicians that paid uninvited visit to aso rock to receive $100,000 from the waster Jonathan the ineffectual buffoon.

Buhari has done more in 11 month than the buffoon ever did in 6 years.
Jonathan broke the country at her very core.
No fiscal discipline
He broke the budget
No investment in the oil industry in his 5 years
No savings
