Because of why? The reason they are giving sucks. I feel it's a bit premature to label any minister as incompetent. We have an astronaut as President. If all his flying can't attract foreign investors, I wonder what will.

Dettol will!

CNPP said they left their states treasury empty but I v not heard Rivers or Lagos state government begging federal government for bailout. Fashola and Ameachi did well wen they both held sway as governors of their various states. Budget have not been passed so what do you expect them to do?
God Bless Nigeria.
Re: Sack Fashola, Amaechi Now, CNPP Tells Buhari by mandax: 1:40pm On Apr 25, 2016
Lol,

When only a minister Fashola was meant to carry the burden of providing motorable roads, provide electricity and houses all over Nigeria.
Is Fashola and Nigeria not meant to fai? It is failure written in bold writing.
Re: Sack Fashola, Amaechi Now, CNPP Tells Buhari by WildChild00(m): 1:40pm On Apr 25, 2016
Less still give them some time, the budget has not been passed yet, if after them, we can now call for their heads!

The topic should have been: Confusion hits CNPP and PMB at same time.

Amaechi and Co are not PMB's problem. PMB is his own problem. "Seest thou a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fo.ol than him."

As long as Buhari remains our all-knowing President who does no wrong and has the answer to all our problems, his Ministers will never live to their full potentials. They will always lurk in his shadow; afraid to 'make noise' and be termed 'noise makers'. Ther are scared stiff of bringing their ideas to governance.

Kachikwu might be failing as a Minister, but at least he tries to proffer solution and bring new ideas to his Ministry. The rest are dead cats.

Fashola is only interested in his elitist policy of working against the poor masses. He has already increased electricity tariff and is gunning for another increase. Ask him and he'll point to advanced countries and compare the tariff. What he won't tell you is that our minimum wage is #18,000 and minimum electricity bill is #7,000. He won't also tell you that people are owed salaries here for up to one year. Mumu at work, yet some clowns are applauding him.

News is beginning to emerge on how the FCT Minister went round bribing and compromising the security operatives and INEC personnel in the recently concluded FCT area council elections. That is a dead looking Minister that goes to work to clock in time, say his prayers as at when due and leave for home. The FCT has become a shadow of what it was under El rufai. Even Bala Mohammed is being missed with his tales by moonlight style of administering the FCT.

CNPP should rather call for the resignation of this cabinet...and PMB. Let Osinbajo handle it the rest of the way. We can't afford to waste our 4 years under Buhari. He has shown not to know what modern governance is all about.

Fashola left N446Billion debt for Lagos state & nothing to show for it especially if one consider that the state IGR is second to none and among top FGN allocation collectors. The state enjoy from Excess crude as well as SWF coupled with various CSR from corporate companies in addition to FGN development, all combined did not justify the huge debt that Fashola left for Lagos.

I don't understand how and why it's difficult for you to understand that you don't need to be an engineer to do the following in the power sector:
Manage budget
Align the government's vision/strategy with the ministry's capability through policy directions which would have most certainly been effectively influenced by the civil servants (Engineering professionals)
Manage resource (Understanding resource need whilst matching it with technical competence of the ministry)

It's really not that difficult ya know?

Hypocrisy is when you didn't vote Fashola and Amechi party into power and you are demanding for their sack.
Why don't you allow people that voted for change to complain while you continue nursing your lose for voting transformation.

You are very very correct sir. Your post is by far the best comment(devoid of partisanship) I've read in recent time.
The truth is that all of buhari's cabinet needs a total overhaul including the minister of petroleum himself. There is no single ministry that seems to have made an inch of progress. Ibe Kachukwu is trying to raise his head but its obvious that the challenges far outweight his capabilities.
Lai Mohammed wanted to start with a bang but because every step(or lie) he took got him into further trouble,he quietly backed away and went into oblivion.
If am to score these minister's performance so far,I'll give them a total of 9%(9 over 100).

In my area has not been light going to three weeks perhaps. And when its rains, everyone with sticks in hands to know where to place his or her legs, yet, the government of all levels are still sleeping on duties. Anyways, in 2019 polls, all the present government both senates and house of representatives will be showing their ways out with our PVCs/VOTEs.

#NoPerformanceNoVotes.

Before the screening of ministers, pm was advise not to allow these set of thieves to be part of his govt but the advice fell on deaf ears because these are the people who loot their state dry just to campaign for APC.

where were the technocrats when political battles were being fought?

thrash. I don't understand this technocrat nonsense we shout about. if you are a professional in any discipline within the private sector, you are a technocrat, immediately you moved into the political terrain to aspire for a post, win or lose, you become a politician.
Will your aspirations as a private person affects your brain when you are appointed or elected?
Tinubu was said to be Mobil treasurer before resigning, should we say he is not a technocrat? if yes, why?
The so called technocrat should leave their comfort zone to join or form a party, appeal to people's conscience to win their vote so they can run the affairs of the nation as they deemed right, them wait for another 4years for citizens evaluation through the ballot.
don't mind them.technocrat ko.tecnodrome ni

But Fashola,Amaechi and Fayemi made incredible impact and development in their states, Confirmed within and outside Nigeria

No politician will use his money to fund project so until the budget is passed there won't be any change,Amaechi can't not build rails and buys trains and so more Fashola can't explore other power sources like Solar wind, he can't repair the damaged power plant, and Fayemi cannot explore mineral resources to diversify the economy

You guys should also know that the Pipe vandalism recently partially affects the poor power supply experience recently

If you appoint a corrupt and un patriotic technocrats as a minister there won't be any improvement and only an experienced politician can withstand the blackmail and threat from other stakeholder politician

The knowledge Fashola has acquired in the power aspects will amaze you, some electrical engineer professors cannot stand him when it comes to proffering solution to the power problem
Fayemi now talks Geologically
They are just administrative head, even an intelligent illettrate can head a ministry just provide your expert and learned subordinate with resources and goal and expect a result

Nigerians just needs to chill and stop being hypocritical, so you are really expecting this government to accomplish in one year what the previous govt couldn't accomplish in 16 years. There have always been poor power supply, fuel scarcity and others I. Nigeria
