- This is a thread setup to give us all a chance to freestyle our skills regarding Graphic designs using Text only.
- Anyone can participate using any software from Microsoft Paint to the "Big Boy Softwares"
- I believe there are a-million-and-one different fonts on planet cyber-earth. Use them wisely!!!
- For Flexibility and Originality, I have decided all participants should submit their designs on their Profile names only, no matter how weird they may sound.
- Each poster may submit as many different designs as possible (But please don't SPAM the thread) but restricted to ONLY your Profile name.
- Please, respect other people's views as no participant is too Novice, or too Professional for this thread!
- Note: This is not a competition per say, just something to spice up the activities of the Graphics Section.
- Nevertheless, it will give each and every one of us to experience "Mind-Blowing" Designs and concepts that I trust Nairaland Graphics people for.

Nice attempt! You even noted what software you used which was something I didn't think of at first. I'll attempt more versions of my Profile name with other graphics software (MS-Paint, CorelDraw, RealDraw, Photoshop, Cinema4D etc). It'll be good graphics exercise if you could attempt other versions too, to improve your hand and techniques.

Bad move with the text fruit thingy! Its a direct violation of the flow of this thread, which is all about designing your profile name. I wish I could have it moved to another thread. But all the same, your concept and design on your profile name is awesome too. I hope more will follow suit so we can all be inspired!

Please feel free to chip in comments on the designs of others so it all becomes a true Graphics exercise eventually.

Also, please note that this thread is not just for professionals alone! I'm hoping to see some newbies participate and grow their graphic skills from the flow of inspiration.

Corel Paint Shop Pro is also a good software to try out. I've used an older version in the past for graphics and it pretty much did its job. So, finish your reading, start playing and hit the thread with your next profile name design!

I'd suggest you scale down your submissions to at least 640x640 pixels so we can see the whole picture at a glance. It's not easy to feel a design when you're only seeing a small portion at a time. Get ma drift?

Could you please please help me delete this corel off my computers.  it's really annoying.  everytime i open a pic, it's opening up in corel and it's not allowing me to upload pics on facebook/NL (not accepting/error).  I went to control panel > add/delete and it's not coming off.  So. . . . . . .

I took my computer (with the corel) to Best buy and asked two techs to remove it, but I have no idea what they did.  Ok, they were nice enough to refund me but I have no idea what they did because it's still there and it looks like he added other programmes.    Or please tell me how to open my pics without them going into corel.  I took some pics of my donuts and I am stuck with them.  Please please please help.

I'm not sure if I get your explanation completely. I'm assuming you're talking of Corel Paint Pro and not CorelDraw. If your pictures were edited using your Corel Paint Pro then they're probably saved in its native format. This is not acceptable for export to Facebook or Nairaland as the case may be.

First of all, are your pictures in .jpg format? If they are, then to view them with Windows Picture and Fax viewer i'd suggest you go to explorer, right-click the file (right mouse button) and in the drop down menu, select "Open with". Select "Windows Picture and Fax viewer" and check the box which says "Always use this program to open files of this type". If all goes well, your pics won't be opening in Corel by default.

Try it out!

As for removing Corel, i'm not sure from your explanation what went down. However, if you truly don't want that software, go to Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Select the Corel and click on change/remove. Follow the steps and you're done.

In ref to your 2nd para, it worked. I tried the siggy as requested. the second pic (my niece) but i can't remove the wording i put around her eyes ok this programme is too high tech for me. oh i was able to change a shirt color from green to pink (getting there)

As for removing the corel, i can't get it off.  guess i'm stuck with it

First off:  No mudslinging allowed.  Well since I am not an artist, I think it's ok for me to be honest, right?

My findings

Aseye: #5 simple, yet nice. I like, reminds me of a licence plate

Alexxie: #6 very unique.  I like that wooden look
             #25 I like very much but I am loving #6 better

Cheesie/Cheexie:  Kool, simple and nice (similar to #29)

Kemjisuper: #28 very simple yet lovely and nice
                    #29 a little more class when compared to #28 (similar to #23)
