BlackBerry has released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow for its latest Android smartphone – the Priv. Blackberry Priv Users can now check for the latest software updates on their Blackberry Priv.

Based on BlackBerry, the new Android M upgrade on Priv will enable their user to enhance their phone security by giving them new opportunities to track and control privacy with the DTEK program. The camera app is expected to show some improvement with the new upgrade

BlackBerry Priv is the most secured and safe Android in the market and we continue to find means to further improve users’ privacy and security by adding latest features with the Marshmallow operating system upgrade,” ‎said John Chen, executive chairman and CEO, BlackBerry.

The new update also brings features that are new to the BlackBerry Keyboard with more emojis, new gesture typing style, better word prediction, good cursor management, among other things.
Additionally with the Doze style of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Priv is anticipated to get an increase in the battery life. You may also shoot at slow motion video at 30fps.

Every top dogs in the game have upgraded their last year flagship to marshmallow, BlackBerry just likes coming late. Samsung, HTC, LG and Sony have already upgraded their last year flagships months ago. Even LG g3 which is a 2014 flagship had marshmallow since February.

That's not the point.. Blackberry aint like others, they've got to fix so many security loop holes in Android before releasing the Software to their security conscious Consumers

Lol, u think I buy that? The priv is running android and Android will always be Android. The fact is they like coming late. Just updating a flagship to marshmallow when android N is already around the corner.

It not about having the latest operating system Running, it's about being able to rock your device without being spyed and thats what blackberry does
