The story you are about to read is about Jackie Chandiru, a Ugandan Superstar who reached the Highest Musical Peak in East Africa, then crashes her music career when she dabbled into drug abuse ( Cocaine & Heroin ).

Jackie Chandiru is a Ugandan Superstar Songstress. She's like the Ugandan version of Tiwa Savage and she has one of the best voices in Africa. She came into limelight in 2004 when she was in a girl group called *Blu 3*. They went on to become the most famous girl group in Africa with Hits like HITAJI & WHERE YOU ARE topping charts all over Africa and on MTV Base.

She went solo in 2010 and released GOLD DIGGER, a monster hit song that topped all the Music Charts in Uganda & all over East Africa. Jackie Chandiru became the most successful Ugandan female singer. She has performed in loads of countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Sudan, Dubai, U.K, Australia, U.S, Oman etc and her stage craft always left fans gasping for more.

But fame comes with its troubles too. Jackie dabbled into drugs in 2014 and that was when her highly successful music career started going down. She was checked into a Rehab Home where she tried to commit suicide on several occasions. She was heard telling her relatives that she wants to die because her life is in a total mess. She is addicted to Cocaine & Heroin. She has other hit songs like OVERDOSE, AGASSI, SHAMIM, MINGU NI MABE etc.

PLEASE this is a wake up call to our Nigerian artistes, learn from this girl. The pictures below were when she was in her prime of her career and the other one is her Rehab picture.

Such a sad tale.... I wish her a quick recovery....
