Let must first commiserate with the families of the departed souls and those that were wounded during the fulani attack on enugu state, though some people see it as a payback time because when same issue occured in mile 12 and agatu community, so many dirty threads were created to make jest of the affected community.
But the issue here is, Enugu state is currently on fire, an emergency meeting was summoned by the south-east governors but Gov. Obiano shunned the meeting. What now amazed me is the comments from igbo folks I read on nairaland trying to vindicate obiano. So alarming!! Just 5 states in the south east and there is no unity ? Here are some snapshots!

If Enugu youths can't defend themselves nobody will Do it for them, we don't babysit sissies in Igboland, if the people of Enugu have suddenly lost their nerves and can't defend their lands anymore, Aba and Onitsha boys are ready and handy to do their job for them...it doesn't cost much to form a vigilante per commmunity...lots of cult boys in Unizik alone that can do the job, just make them useful and supply them with the weapons...set up a payroll to keep them in check...the Foolanis know they can mess with the Enugu populace and get away with it cause Enugu people are typically laid back and peaceful people just like Imo state people...you will never hear of Fulani herdsmen messing around in Anambra(Onitsha in particular), Aba, or even small Ebonyi state...the reasons are not far-fetched, this people don't take nonsense laying low.

@ op,you opened a thread just to taunt the Igbos for Obiano's action.I am not happy he was not there but I cannot sit behind my keyboard to judge him because I do not know the reason why he took such decision and what he probably discussed with his colleagues prior to the meeting.He had better have a good reason why he was not there at the meeting,the issue being discussed bothered on the wellbeing of Ndigbo.However,judging a people's opinion based on a couple of comments on a faceless forum is a unacceptable.
