Some WOLE SOYINKA's Quotes..

KINGSLEY OMOSE @omosekingsley

ENJOY!

A leader who enters into an alliance with those who impoverish his people economically and now seek their land looses the right to lead.

The late Lam Adesina who stood up to the excesses of herdsmen led by Buhari in 2001 was a Muslim, likewise Abiola AJIMOBI who opposes NGB.

The Grazing Bill is not about Islamisation but extension of the sphere of influence of the Caliphate to every nook and cranny of Nigeria.

When Grazing Bill become law and land acquired across Nigeria for grazing purposes, the allegiance of its occupants will be to the Caliphate

By throwing down the gauntlet and declaring that the Grazing Bill will not happen, Abiola AJIMOBI has raised up a bulwark of opposition.

Tinubu is increasingly looking like Afoja of Ilorin who opened the door for his people to be subjugated through his alliance with Alimi.

When you lift the veil of the herdsmen and go beyond their cattle and their owners, to the Grazing Bill, what you see is the Caliphate.

The Grazing Bill is a Trojan horse that will grant land across Nigeria to herdsmen that can be become armed garrisons for launching attacks.

The exertions and atrocities of herdsmen is the wind in the sails of moves to legislate national grazing land for herdsmen across Nigeria.

Abiola AJIMOBI upholds the proud tradition of resistance of Ibadan Empire to the Caliphate when he stoutly opposes the National Grazing Bill

After Ilorin became part of the Sokoto Caliphate, it was the armies of the Ibadan Empire that halted its spread into Yoruba land.

Past occupants of Government House Agodi, have a strong tradition of standing up against herdsmen atrocities and AJIMOBI is no exception

They are not Nigerians or Fulanis, yet the Presidency, security agencies, Northern Governors Forum stand idly by as herdsmen wreck havoc

WOLE SOYINKA: The nomads of the world cannot place themselves above the law of settled humanity.

WOLE SOYINKA: For every crime, there is a punishment, for every violation, there must be restitution.

SOYINKA: The leadership cannot offer solutions that implicitly deem the massacres of innocents mere incidents on the way to that learning.

SOYINKA: Herdsmen must be taught about the culture of settlement and learn to seek accommodation with settled hosts wherever encountered.

WOLE SOYINKA: I have yet to encounter a terse language that threatens a response to this unconscionable blood-letting (by herdsmen)

WOLE SOYINKA: I have yet to encounter a terse, rigorous, soldierly and uncompromising language from this leadership (on herdsmen violence)

WOLE SOYINKA: The nation is treated to an 18 month optimistic plan (on herdsmen) which, to make matters worse, smacks of abject appeasement

WOLE SOYINKA: I have not heard an order given that any cattle herders caught with sophisticated firearms be instantly disarmed and arrested

There is a reason why the U.S. has armed bases across the world from which to quickly launch attacks, grazing reserves are like armed bases.

what pains me most is that some fulani/yoruba people will come here and call the o.p an ipob even when the person is saying the truth.

What should have been a blessing for farmers has become a problem.
Where cow dungs should be fertilisers on the land, the farmers themselves become the fertilisers after being butchered.
Only in Nigeria will this happen.
An advantage is instantly turned into a problem .
I have seen videos of thousands of cattle being herded.
Do not tell me the owners cannot afford to ranch and cultivate feeds to feed their cattle.
They should be forced to learn how to make hay.

When I read about the resistance Lam Adesina put up, I had to change my mentality about our Muslim brothers. I'm not against supporting Buhari, but once you start losing your common sense and advancing your party/Fulani/Hausa/Religion interest at the expense of the Yoruba interest, then may Sango rip your heart into pieces.

I still remain a supporter of Buhari, albeit, I may slip over soon. Yoruba interest first!

grin But you are saying the truth. Before party, there is tribe. So the interest of your tribe comes first before party. You guys should keep a tab on passingshot and his gangs.. To him and his gang, party's interest comes first before tribe. He is the leader of the aggressive proponent of this land grabbing bill on NL here.

Trying to eliminate the fifth columnists is like trying to the rid the world of evil. The world will never be free of evil. There is bound to be saboteurs and Afonjas among us - ever ready to sell us to their slave master for a pot of porridge. They'll be fiercely resisted. They're in the minority. They'll soon meet their nemesis. The pissingshot and joborfools of these world cannot stop our progress. They can relocate to kano to serve their Fulani masters for all we care. I feel a strong feeling that they're Northerners.

Will you keep quiet. What have you been saying? When it's now time for your governors to talk, they keep mute like mugu maga, waiting for Yorubs to make the first move.
I give it to Mimiko and Ajimobi for making the first bold move.

Is it a bad idea to aspire for a better future especially for yoruba coming generation . Beside is seun no longer yoruba ni? Why must ur moderator delete my post and banned my moniker ? This is unfair

I'm sure he is from muslim Kwara/Osun. These are the biggest proponent of the grazing bill in yorubaland. These are the footsoldiers of fulanis in yorubaland.

grazing reserve should be against the law......the Fulani herdsmen are business men and they are rich why must govt create reserves for them......if govt should do that, then they should also provide offices for all businessmen, free market for people sell, private business owners shouldn't pay for their space e.t.c. lemme just say our leaders are cowards....I supported this govt but I'm regretting right now cos of this single move......one set of people are not above others......that's what I have to say
