The institute of Management and Technology Enugu (IMT) has been a Highly recognised Educational Institution in the south East and Nigeria as a whole with Student all along the nooks and crannies of Nigeria.
Under the Governing Body of Prof Mike Iloeji, The current Rector of the Institution, we can see rapid ongoing projects Bringing the School back to its old lost glory ranging from various New school buildings and lecture halls been raised and Road constructions everywhere.It indeed marvellous in our sight..
With it population of student increasing each academic year, and the high cost of owning a room or should I say an apartment off camp becomes unbearable, Students has to live under the roof of many family and love ones for their academic pursuit..
God been faithful, Old Hostels buildings which were left for rats and the Man o wars to use for their personal purpose was approved for renovations under a private body for a contract Year best known to the management. In recent or in no short of time, The Old abandoned Buildings was back to life and sight with A saloon and a mini mart to it..
In the year 2013, The newly admitted ND students were left with no other option than a compulsory hostel fee of 40,000 or no registration numbers and sometimes subjected to No lectures no until payment is done whether you love to live in campus or off with 6 or more room mates and your fee elapse at the end of your ND 1..
Not withstanding that, Some students who run out of luck minding that the hostel are filled up are still meant to pay the hostel fee while those who have paid and not allocated rooms are meant to look for accommodation else where with no refund even with un human rules and regulations of no cooking in the hostels..
This has caused enough pain even in the SUG regime of Comrade Isiani Kingsley*Mandela* for staging a protest in regards to this and the Renovation of class rooms..

Please the Government of Enugu state and the federal Academic board should look into this...
