The owners of all those cows are billionaires and some are still very much active in politics. I doubt I understand what sort of lunacy is disturbing our so called elected leaders. You go waste our money and you still want us to feed your cows with taxpayers money. What in the world do you want to do with the billions you have amassed? Lastly, na God go punish all of una who propose such bill.............

If Federal government led by Fulani wants to pass a Grazing Reserve Bill, Buhari can finance it.

All he does is use oil money to buy a few legislators from the south. Most legislators from the 19 states in Nigeria's north can support the Bill.

Southern Nigerians were blind when northern military generals created a whooping number of 19 states and Abuja with excess political representation constituencies in one former northern federating unit.

When and if Grazing Reserve Bill is passed, it shall spread Fulani states in Nigeria to 36 +Abuja.

The Grazing Reserves shall be Military Garrisons For Fulani invaders in every state of Nigeria.

Fulani thinks huge and far ahead - more than any other tribe in Nigeria.

Only a few Igbos are yet able to understand that their future generations shall be either dispersed or wasted if one Nigeria continues.

Grazing reserves rubbish another way of islamizing Nigeria
Gradual process of taking over people's lands and settling by force with federal government backing
One day you will just wake up to find that hausa people has taken over your ancestral home
Later they will introduce their religion by force
Of course with FG backing!
Nice try APC

Although we are from different worlds politically with the deputy senate president. But I agree with him on this one. The fulani's are not the only ethnic group in Nigeria and should not be given prefrential treatment. Can farmers in let's say Anambra or Ogun be given lands in kano by the federal government to cultivate their crops without risking another civil war? Even if they is going to be grazing reserves let it be in the north. Enough of this rubbish talks about marginalisation by fulani's freedom of mmovement does not say the country belongs to fulani's alone. We are all NIgerians.

Or better still, Southern Governments should get proactive and start encouraging folks to take up Cattles breeding/ Ranches to break the North monopoly for once and all will be well cool

Passing such bill will go against ECOWAS law, they're not suppose to cross the latitude, any grazing reserve should stop at kwara and kogi not down to Southwest, southeast and south-south.

I support Ike on this one.
The grazing bill CAN NEVER be successfully read not to talk about being passed.

You're on point. A farm in Anambra has already started it and the state govt is encouraging it; they've been doing it in Obudu cattle ranch, Cross River state for some time now.... Let other states join in and pursue it aggressively. With that we'll be killing 2 birds with one stone- prove to them fulanis that it's achievable and it's the best modern practise, compete favourably with them in the meat market and possibly push them out of business.

“There is no such proposal or bill on the creation of grazing reserves either in the Senate or House of Representatives.

“Nobody is considering it; not even at the executive level. I do not think they are considering it but we will not support it even if it has been considered,” he said.

Kai, this man can lie o. There is a sitting house of rep member who is spearheading the sponsorship of this bill. He had an interview with Channels two days back. Is Ekweremadu trying to say he does not know about this. This is how they deny till the bill enters its 3rd hearing.

I noticed something on Facebook, about what CAN president said about d grazing bill. Those attacking him are mostly northerners and Yoruba moslems. It's a pity those Yoruba moslems will distroy the unity of a united southern Nigeria. This issue of religion will not help us but objective reasoning is d only solution to Nigeria problems. Let d fulani graze up north they hv large portion of lands there and if anybody from Kogi, niger and the rest middle beltersners support d bill they can dedicate their lands for such evil. It's very funny see their passion to support d bill and yet they hate we southerners with passion(calling us unclean) but love our land, young girls and our mineral resources God help us all
